I would like to compare the Maverick Hybrid to the Maverick ICE. Anyone have those numbers. Recalls per each year and how many unit involved would be really good info. I am truly interested not trying to throw shade on either version.

Since you like everything else about the Maverick why not trade for a ICE version. I have 13,000 miles on my Lariat AWD 4K tow with no issues and averaging 29mpg for the whole 13K. Only on recall and it was update on software.

I think you would be right with an old school engine (No turbos, no direct inject) but I think you are fooling yourself if you think you can have long term reliability with Dino oil and long oil change intervals on a EcoBoost engine. If you could make an after market replacement under engine guard that has access doors for the oil drain and oil filter you could sell a bunch. The OEM has no doors so you must remove every oil change which is a huge hassle. If you want to make a prototype send it to me and I will evaluate.

I have a 24 Eco AWD Lariat and when I am idling with foot on the brake I hear a pretty sizable rattle coming from what appears to be behind the back seat. This started at around 10,000 miles. Any Ideas? If i take my foot off the brake the rattle stops.
