I drove a rental CX5 a couple of months ago and I liked it a lot. Mazda has designed some beautiful vehicles these last few years. That said, don't trust the warranty is gonna save you from a lot of frustration if it is a problematic car. It does look nice.
I got nothing, but just for shi*s and giggles, maybe make sure all your other info is correct too. My address and phone numbers were all blank. I've updated them. Crossing my fingers! I really need this truck.
Don't just take their word for it. Read the warranty. They usually get wordy and specific. My daughter's Honda Civic had a valve cover gasket fail at <36K miles. I told her to take it in and it would be covered under warranty. She took it to the dealership and the tech told her it was not...
I've had a plug fail at highway speeds. It just became a flat tire, nothing crazy. PSA - If you have a Sam's Club Membership, they will repair your tire for free no matter where you bought it. I prefer Discount Tire though. Shops are everywhere and they are quick, but they only do free...
Go to the dealer if you want to pay $60 or more.. most places will do it for less than $20. Sams Club will repair any tire for free as long as you are a member.
I've found Rhino Liner for $399 on Facebook Marketplace and some others I've never heard of for ~$300. Where and what prices have you folks been paying in Central Florida?
Thanks!
I went to my local Coggin Ford to see if they would match Mullinax. They won't ($800 dealer fee). There were no customers at Coggin and they weren't
even taking 2023 Mav orders unless you are a 22 order that didn't get built.
My e-mail from Ford came late last night (ordered mid-day Saturday). It shows copilot 360 but doesn't show the trailer hitch receiver which is clearly on the preview order. I guess that should be easy enough to fix.
The problem is that Ford is shutting down pre-orders early. In this business-as-usual delayed order entry system, some folks are gonna get screwed. I suspect quite a few folks ordering a hybrid today are gonna get screwed. And 9 out of 10 sales guys don't know about these memos that we are...
I ordered Saturday with Mullinax New Smyrna. Still no e-mail from Ford, but I went in today with my concerns and they gave me a pre-order form with the order code and sales code. Using those 2 items, Ford chat confirmed my order was in their system and unscheduled-clean which is the best you...
Yeah, I'd do a 2-hour drive. But my Mullinax order is now confirmed accepted with Ford and I'll continue with the Chapman order because it's 3% under invoice and I'm gonna need a new truck too. Whichever comes first goes to my daughter. Her 2007 Corolla has 210K+ miles and my 2012 CR-V has...
I just did a chat session and the Ford rep was able to use my sales code and order code (from my pre-order sheet) to confirm Ford received the order. You'd think they'd provide a website to do all that automatically.
I placed an order with Mullinax Ford of New Smyrna Saturday and was assured the order would be entered with Ford that day. It wasn't and still hasn't been. It's sitting in a big stack waiting its turn.
I've now e-mailed Ashlie at Chapman in the hopes they are more efficient. I really hate...
I'm trying to help my daughter get a new vehicle. I've gone full circle. Started out wanting a Mav Hybrid. Couldn't find one. Figured maybe wait for an EV. We need something sooner rather than later and Mav Hybrid checks the boxes. We're in Florida. She's a recent college grad moving to...
Thanks for cluing me in! I had no idea ceramic blocked heat like that.
I'm very interested in the Maverick Hybrid, but a couple of things have me scratching my head....
I have to buy the Lariat edition to get push-button start? The XLT should have this.
I have to remove the entire skid...
