If it is a 23 to 24 conversion order, they should have made it higher priority than 19. I think 10 was what Ford advised, but not sure. A new 24 order is gonna be a 19.
My understanding is the dealer can only set it as low as 10. Anything less is Ford's doing. Maybe Ford knows for sure my 23 isn't going to be built and maybe the 10s still have a chance? IDK?
It's on the order summary the dealer gave me. My sales guy reached out to me a day after I got the 2024 order confirmation from Ford. I had to sign a couple of things for the new order too. Maybe ask your salesperson for a copy of the 2024 order summary and ask if you need to sign anything.?
Got my e-mail from Ford yesterday morning and my paperwork today. I'm priority 3. I wonder why they didn't make you a 3? It's an XL Hybrid with CP360 and the trailer hitch. I hope I get it this time and sooner rather than later.
I'm figuring it's going to make up for the price increase. You have nothing to lose placing a 24 order. The sales guys don't sound really damn confident about anything they say as far as I'm concerned. The sales manager seemed knowledgeable. The dealership should have sent out an e-mail...
FYI if you got the e-mail from Ford telling you to place a 2024 order in case the 2023 order doesn't get built. I just came from New Smyrna Mullinax. They start entering those orders this evening at 4 PM. I was told they will let me know when there is paperwork to sign. They have 37 2023...
My sales guy is telling me he thinks I don't need to come in, but he isn't sure so checking. Utter confusion. If they weren't offering price protection, I'd just wait a little longer for a Toyota Stout.
About 20 years ago this was really common on VWs. All the plastic dash and door parts would get sticky. Had it happen on 3 different VWs. I will not own another.
I know this is an old thread, but for anyone else trying to confirm COVP status, I just spoke with a Ford rep. She said Unscheduled Clean doesn't mean COVP Approved. She said only the dealer can confirm it is COVP approved. She did give me a $50 Ford gift card for calling.
That stinks! We probably could have worked something out. A signed agreement as to how much I am going to give you to remove your name from the title. We both go in. I pay for it outright. We remove your name from the title. I've got a truck and you've got a couple grand in your pocket...
