my dealer has allocations........Ford just refuses to pick them up. They'd rather schedule my exact same build from an order from Sept-Oct-Nov.

Thanks. It looks like Ford would rather fill large dealer orders than care about customers who helped "hype" the maverick by ordering when ordering first opened. Sad.

Reservations are different than orders. No way does Ford have 100,000 retail orders otherwise they'd have cut of ordering a lot sooner. I think the conversion rate mentioned in early posts was around 35-40% from those in the know. So 40,000 +/- a couple thousand. At the rate hybrids are being...

So we can all prepare to be disappointed. I'm a bit distressed that yesterday's 5 weeks of scheduling wasn't as big as i expected, at least according to the Forum. Wonder if Fords adding in Ecoboost fleet and South American orders, screwing us ever more.

Doesn't matter when you ordered. Heck, someone who ordered a hybrid on the cut off deadline could get scheduled before those of us who ordered June/July. Ford only cares about PR and marketing the hybrid as the next best thing-not taking care of customers.

The Ford Maverick customer service team can't tell what priority you are; I've been told numerous times I'm a priority 2, that there's a "chip" reserved for my build, that I'll be scheduled next week, yada yada yada. They do a wonderful job and some that I've talked to have been so nice, but...

The other hybrids, according to people reporting here, had the exact same build but ordered after mine. There's no explanation.

this is the best explanation I've seen yet. You're right, those of us who ordered in June and July did in fact drive up the hype on the hybrid Maverick yet. you're welcome Ford and thanks for remembering us....

My dealer has allocations; he's had at least 10 every month since October but keeps getting passed over. And he's only got 7 hybrid orders and 1 ecoboost plus his dealer ordered stock ecoboot.

Seems like they've had no problem shipping to Granger in IA and Long MacArthur in KS. I ordered from a family friend in West Iowa, so if shipping was the issue why wasn't my 7/7 order included i production/shipping with those orders?

When we both have our hybrids, let's meet in Wisconsin (Illinois here) and have a beer and do some fishing! I'd still argue that if they knew that had to cap builds based on what they have/can get, there's no reason they shouldn't start filling our June/July orders as a priority versus this...
