They said that in August, i know. But that's not an explanation for why they aren't filling the backlog of June/July orders before an October hybrid gets scheduled. Or why there's a 40% constraint in the first place besides exceeded demand??? Are they taking fleet retail orders into the...
There's a lot to manufacturing i don't understand, but given the builds scheduled today are all over the place across the country, I think that it was purely about allocations to larger dealers. If orders were had in the midwest that were ordered later than 7/7, what's the reasoning mine wasn't...
i'm going to say that it's not instant gratification. Sure we all knew going in that this was going to be a process, especially with a global pandemic going on. I think a lot of us are just very frustrated at seeing our same builds being scheduled that were ordered weeks, if not months after...
Doesn't matter when we ordered apparently, Ford's social media PR was all that they were hoping for-not actually fulfilling orders and making customers happy.
MY 23 at this point in my opinion. If they are limiting hybrids to 40%, coupled with what i'm sure are fleet retail orders and orders in Argentina and Brazil, either they will be building hybrid MY22s till next December or a bunch of us are getting pushed at which point Ford will tell us there...
Model Year 2023 is my guess at this point. July 7 order here and still not scheduled. Added the lux package with drop in liner to speed it up a few weeks ago and still can't get scheduled.
What the &$&!. End of July order yet my July 7 order can't be touched apparently. Anyways, happy for you and let me know it handles those Arizona mountains so when I drive down there to see family I can it loose-if i ever get scheduled.
And let's remember, Ford is not giving any priority to us early hybrid reservers. Otherwise, nearly all of us would have been scheduled in the 5! weeks in JAnuary.
Wishful thinking..... July 7 here and nothing yet. no constrained item either. My venture is that they are keeping space open in production for fleet and South American orders, further screwing us from June and July over. (and August!) furthermore, you'd think with all the hype they'd actually...
Nope, everyone who ordered as an ROVP and everything's good to go. But still nothing. I imagine Granger (my dealer is in Iowa) keeps screwing us over by taking all the builds. which is shitty.
Congrats tho those who ordered in October getting dates, but you're right. Those of us without dates who ordered in June and July are simply getting screwed over, there's no other way to explain it. Doubt if I'll get a production date before 2022 the way it's been going and then at that point...
Awesome for you if it happens today. But tees me off even more given that Chapman had 48 scheduled today and my dealer hasn't had 1 scheduled yet. Not even an Ecoboost. At this point, all i said about Ford caring about large dealers over everyone else is looking true.
huge letdown considering Ford said it was scheduling for 5 weeks today. If they truly meant that, you would've thought they try to clear out June/July hybrid orders. But alas, no. Shame on Ford for continually screwing us over.
