Not necessarily. Supply level constraints get re-evaluated every scheduling month. Looks like little to no XLs this scheduling month but that could change the next.
Is this a 2024? It was never offered on the 2024 to begin with so it won't show as a delete.
Only shows as a delete if it was in the original specs and removed after.
These are both wrong.
Changing trim levels does not effect your private offer. I went from an XLT to Lariat and got the full private offer from the XLT.
Contact Ford marketing and ask why the private offer was changed.
I mean, those people have also been driving around in their trucks for a year+ while many of us are are just now receiving their orders.
Everyone has different priorities I suppose.
Tank sizes are usually calculated getting around ~400 miles between fill ups. The more fuel efficient the vehicle, the smaller the tank as long as it still hits that target. This helps to reduce weight and increase efficiency even further. Ecoboost has a larger tank to still hit that 400mi target.
Picked up my Lariat from Gosch Temecula a few weeks ago as well. While I was not impressed with communication during the order and build process, I will admit picking up the vehicle was the easiest transaction I'd ever had from a dealer.
Nice truck!
The parts availability gets reset when they do their big scheduling every month. Then those parts are "exhausted" in the weeks between because they have already been allocated to customer builds.
Example: I get 100 mudflaps from my supplier every month. Once a month I do a big scheduling and I...
This means they are doing scheduling this week (2/8/24) for any gaps in production weeks in March (3/4-3/25)
If you already have a build date this is meaningless to you. Constraints and everything else in this email DO NOT APPLY TO ALREADY SCHEDULED BUILDS!
If you DO NOT have a build date...
The Ranger is playing 2nd place to the Tacoma. People who wanted a mid-sized pickup are buying Tacomas. People who want a small Ford are buying Mavericks. It has no market at this point, except to fleet buyers who can't get a Maverick.
I don't think Ford expected the Maverick so be as big a hit...
