The info just says “if you exceed those suggested frontal area recommendations, your performance will suffer, every truck I have had paid a heavy penalty when towing.

I have done it both ways without success, foot on brake and starting to e truck and no foot on the brake so it just goes to accessory, both while holding the ok button for well over 5 seconds.
Have also tried to hold the engine start button for well over 5 seconds again with the ok button...
I have not found a way to turn off the seatbelt notification for the front seat.
It shows up even if the belt is on and you have to hit ok for it to disappear.
Tried these steps and still no ET.
Thanks for trying.
Brian
Thanks for the tips Glenn, still no ET mode.
Held both buttons for well over the 5 seconds, cleared the seatbelt and other warnings with the OK button, hit the hamburger button once and the EV coach comes up use OK button to scroll down and it only goes through the screens I chose to have in the...
Tried all these instructions multiple times and nothing.
No matter how long I hold the “ok” button without starting the truck I get no ET light.
I guess I will just deal with it not being accurate “like every other Ford I have had” and just do the calculation myself for the true MPG.

BTW I was stationed at Ft Wainwright in Fairbanks from 84-86 when I was in the Army.
Still have an “adopted mom” up there that we keep in touch with and last visited in 2019.
Thanks for the response.
Brian
Thanks for response.
I will be interested to hear what you find out.
Here is what Google says
The 15-minute waiting period for a 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid after flat towing is to allow its complex computer systems to "reset," perform self-diagnostics, and for the all-wheel-drive (AWD)...
The only bummer about noise for 15 minutes is that if the site isn’t a pull through the Maverick is left in the road for that whole time potentially blocking others.
