I bring this up here because the Maverick has the same stupid design.
Start rant....
My son's 2020 Escape still had its OEM battery. It needed to be replaced because even after leaving it on a charger to 100%, I would get the "battery saver" message immediately after he turned his Escape off...
2023 Mavericks are a weird year as they didn't come with remote start on the fob by default. You had to buy it as an add-on or do an aftermarket solution. I went with the latter.
Yes, you can use FordPass, but being able to use the fob is quicker.
That's a head scratcher. I don't watch my tire pressure while driving, but it is handy in the event I run over something. I then will keep it up for a few miles to make sure the pressure doesn't start going down.
I mostly keep the AWD screen up that tells you which tires have power.
Yeah, in many states if cost of repair exceeds a certain percentage of the undamaged value of the vehicle, then insurance companies are legally required to total it by law even if it is repairable. The unibody nature of the Maverick makes it easy to exceed that percentage.
Based on my understanding of how it works, I don't think you are penalized by purchasing your warranty at a different dealership. Ford pays the dealer the same regardless.
Now, whether what you are experiencing is warranty or not is a different matter.

I think it is simple. Neither Maverick nor Ranchero had an American presence since the late 1970s and the original target audience were people born after that time period. The name Maverick was likely seen as less goofy.
Ford definitely whiffed the target audience. That said, doesn't change...
I don't have any I would consider a waste of time or money.
One upgrade I think is underrated, especially if you have a tonneau, is to grab a scrap wood board and create a small "trunk" at the back with one of those garage containers. This literally cost me $0 as all of these were items I had...
You are not going to go to jail for doing Forscan mods. There's a nice legal precedence where confusion favors the defendant. I signed no contract stating I won't futz around with my truck and Ford would be hard pressed to find a jury to understand what Ford would even be on about. Plus, one of...
"132 kilowatt generator." So, basically the truck can serve as an emergency power backup for every house on my street...
It would have the ability to charge the batteries from empty in an hour while still providing plenty of power to move the vehicle. When I did the math a while back...
