Which is still only 2.05% of their total sales. That's largely a hobby. Ford sold more Escapes than Mustangs and still cancelled the Escape. The Mustang lives solely on its history.
Except Ford's CEO literally just announced Ford is done competing with those companies. Ford will do what Ford does best and stop wasting money on models that exist sole just for Ford to be in the market. Say what you will, Ford is a truck and SUV company now. The Mustang is simply a hobby they...
Total Ford Sales in CY25: 2,204,124

He's not completely off base. If you aren't already in the market, is that 7% worth the investment?
The "upgraded" range is only 230 miles. This might make a decent around town vehicle, but that range is pretty bad. The Lightning and Cybertruck get around 320 miles and even that is considered low for truck applications.

That's a great point. The problem with the Escape is it literally looks like every other small hatchback. While I don't like how the Hyundai Santa Fe or Santa Cruz looked, that at least had some character!
I might consider the low-tech solution to save my eyes from the jacked up pickup trucks with stupid looking wheels that like to tailgate me at night. These are currently the only thing I put on my mirrors. Handles the "need to someone is there" thing.
I'd love to see pics of the larger infotainment once it is working. That's the one major mod I've been considering but haven't pulled the trigger on yet.
Silly question, but are you parked on even ground? I could see a case where the front driver side is sitting up higher in the wheel well if the tire itself is parked on slightly higher ground.
Asked it to make a cartoony version of this photo. I then said "more cartoony." A little disappointed in the results as I think Photoshop has had this feature for decades...
