  1. Got the recall for the trailer MODULE, Remedy not AVAILABLE to Q2

It appears if you get OTA updates, then it is available and will download on its own. If you have an older Maverick, then you will have to wait until Ford rolls it out to dealerships.
  2. Maverick windshield replacing..

My crack was not a manufacturing defect. I'm don't recall seeing many posts about cracked windshields.
  3. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Alright, so I'm willing to concede that my literal deaf wife likely didn't hear if a rock chipped the windshield while she was driving behind a dump truck (a piece of information she only told me last night). If that was the case, then the carwash is absolved and it is on us. That said, they...
  4. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

The windshield was only 450. The rest was calibrating the camera for Co-Pilot.
  5. 2 tailgate assists?

Isn't my truck, so dude can do whatever. I have just one and it works fine given I bought it off Amazon.
  6. Newbie here I'm thrilled to join this group!

Welcome to the club. We are a simple folk who like pictures. :)
  7. Here's my new Dash Cam.

I installed a Viofo dashcam in my wife's Expedition. The worst part of it is in order to do the hardwire kit, you have to pull out the door trim to get to the internal fusebox. That's not really the hard part. The hard part was putting the trim back in. In any case, it has a 4K front and 2K...
  8. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Done. $1,119.63 later and the windshield has been replaced. They did a fantastic job with it. Took a little over an hour total.
  9. Another one bites the dust... my Maverick burned down in 30 car pileup

That sucks but totally glad the Maverick did its job and protected you! We salute its sacrifice and hope you enjoy the replacement shopping process as it is a little easier to find Mavericks today compared to 2023.
  10. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Was able to confirm the glass had the wiper heater and was acoustic glass. He is currently making quick work of it. Still needs to drive it to calibrate the camera.
  11. First Time Seeing Orange Fury 2026 Maverick!

You joke, but I guarantee that DOTs around the country just became interested. Smart move by Ford, IMO.
  12. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Talking about my shark? Got it from a MTC member.
  13. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Yes, my insurance has coverage but deductible is set too high to matter. Given this is my first replacement windshield in 30 years, I'm willing to eat the cost out of pocket for this one. I plan to talk to insurance Agency next week to lower deductible for the Maverick and Expedition. I asked...
  14. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

This is my first broken windshield in over 30 years of driving. Part of the reason why I'm not completely torn up about it. Even at $6 a month, I'm still ahead even paying out of pocket. That said, I plan to talk to my agent. The Expedition windshield would likely be a lot more expensive.
  15. Getting rid of SiriusXM

Weird. My radio goes back to what it was playing last. Unfortunately, if it was last playing Apple Music and I'm not quick enough to plug my phone in, it'll kick on the FM radio. I've never had it autotune to Sirius XM or even advertise it is there. None of the Escape, Maverick, Explorer, and...
  16. Auto start/stop article

The technology is stupid but the outrage is overrated. I have not heard of anyone I know having to replace their starter in almost 20 years. I mostly leave it on as I honestly am not bothered with the truck stopping its vibrating when at a traffic light. I will turn it off in certain situations...
  17. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Not a touchless but one we've used for years. Likely a rock stuck in the roller as you can still feel the glass shards where it hit. Hot water did the rest.
  18. Cabin air filter replacement, paper found on top of filter.

I'm not an expert on the air intake for the A/C, but could it be something that was just sucked in as you drove? The whole point of the filter is to filter crap in the air and I see stuff like that floating around the highway all the time.
  19. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Should be. I gave them the VIN due to there being "multiple options." So, they should have everything they need to properly replace it.
  20. Cracked Windshield Thanks to Carwash

Sad part is this was never meant to happen. Truck needed an oil change. I was going to have the dealer do it via mobile service. Wife said she'd just take it through their quick lube. While there, she said she would get it washed on the way home since it was dirty. Alternatively, I had a...
