Yep. With a dial, I'd prefer end stops. But ideally I'd just like push buttons like my last car had.

Sorry to bump a super old thread - this may be because your phone case doesn't have a metal ring in it. A lot of the older or less expensive cases (and esp for 12/13's) do not have them. Most all cases now, or at least for the 14-16, do have them, even the pretty inexpensive ones. I was confused...

I use all the technology. It's great. But it doesn't replace humans paying attention. When paying attention, you don't back out on top of people/cars/etc, or merge into cars that are in one's "blind spot" because they monitor where vehicles are around them while driving. Tickets and accidents don’t mean much. The elapsed duration since your last may though, ha. You described two unsafe conditions caused by your lack of attention while driving. I’m glad you had safety technology to save you, but you really should evaluate your habits and adjust. Safety first.

These are both normal events that you check for before and during action. It seems that you have some really unsafe habits as a driver.
