I agree that cord quality is the culprit in most problems like this. I may be wrong, but I believe the big difference between USB -> USBC and USBC -> USBC is that the old school USB does not fast charge.

I intentionally did not make my welds very strong and hopes that it will give out before Ford's welds do. It's not the kind of truck to do much rock hopping. I mostly stick to mud and sand. Hopefully I never have to find out who's welds were stronger :-)

I like that you do not have to put the truck into P before turning it off. The headlamp switch also turns for ever and ever but defaults back to 'auto' when you start the truck again. It's kind of funny the way that the Mavericks are sitting right now with the drivetrain selections. It's either one extreme or the other. Either have great acceleration or great MPG but nothing in between LOL
