One of the lines were loose huh? Hopefully you didn't lose a lot of fluid, and the spot looked worse that it turned out. Sometimes a drop of fluid really spreads out on the cement or pavement.
For most everyday driving needs I'm sure the tire is suitable, but I preferred a better all-around tire especially on an AWD vehicle that needs to be capable.
The factory tires are there for noise, ride, miles, etc...., and I think those would last quite a while.
Everyone has an opinion but what's not an opinion is how much better tires were available (even for an XL) for an AWD vehicle and what whatever reason (cost I'd imagine) tires that look like a spare were installed at the factory.
This past January I replaced the factory skins with BFG Trail Terrain (235/65/17) and I'll give some observations. Right off the bat, yes, the factory tires could pass for used tires as the tread is minimal fron the get go. When I removed at roughly 1500 miles, you could see minimal wear on the...
Six of one, half a dozen of another. You can "power" a house in the event of an outage, but you still need to recharge the batteries in the vehicle. We all know what will be powered and what will not. Look at all of the flooding down south. Realistically speaking, how well is the EV going to...
How long would your average EV be able to run a house in the event of a power outage?
The other day I saw someone using his lightning to power his mig welder even though he was parked in his driveway. I just shook my head.
Right off the bat, I like how EB engines are underrated.
With that said, the S.C. is not a consideration for me as the looks are rough. As a previous Hyundai owner (a few times over) the quality was not comparable with other Asian manufacturers, and I always likened it to a high-quality MIA...
Mine went by rail from Mexico to Tuscon to Newark and then to my area by truck and all in all, it was three weeks as the truck was built and shipped a few days after my deposit which was on a Friday. He told me to expect it by the end of November but it came over two weeks earlier.
I couldn't do it. My '23 XL has everything I want at a price much higher if I went to a new '24 or '25. Unless the vehicle comes with a different woman, I'm passing!
Many people ignore the risks involved with investment and seem to think you are guaranteed easy money.
The situation depends on the individual and IMO, most who can outright buy a car (not a jalopy) must have done a few things right.
At the time, there was not a benefit for me to take a loan over a cash payment.
Even more importantly, my convenience and time has a very high price that would not be covered by getting a bank involved.
I quoted both of you as I think each of you mentioned something about hesitation and a weird feeling when turning from a stop. IMO it has more to do with the transmission and programming. Sport mode really changes up the feel and response of the vehicle. It does not feel like some b.s. mode...
