Good idea but I've never been a fan of having a 4 way (3 way in your case? lol) as it always seems to jump around. As weird as it sounds, I've went with the route (not in this truck) with a 1/2" ratchet with a small breaker bar attachment.
To me, correct me if I am wrong, it sounds as if Livernois puts more development and such into the Ecoboost tunes it offers. Being honest, I think Cobb more for Subaru than anything. I ran 93 octane Cobb tune on a WRX and I have my thoughts on it.
What is the reason for those tunes not being great? Is it just tunes for the ecoboost falling under that category or is it because it's more well known for Subaru tunes or is it another reason?
How can I say this? There are a lot of things going on you just don't notice.
Have you ever driven down a street a few thousand times and on time 2001 you notice a house for the first time but it has been there for each of those other 2000 times?
Two months and off went the OEM continental tires for BFGs. The OEMs were sold and put a large dent in the price of the new, to my liking tires. I guess the factory tires would be fine for most people but I preferred something more appropriate for AWD and Northeast weather.
Normal driving, my Maverick is as quick as my '21 WRX. I say that because it (WRX) wasn't the easiest vehicle to drive at least with a 6 speed. When I finally put the 93 livernois on it, I think it would easily outperform it.
Maybe I am odd but I have always had a fascination with first aid kids and MRE's. Needless to say, those I do have in the under-seat storage. Around here I like to have a hog leg too.
The "rated" torque makes the 2.0EB quite fun especially how it cruises at 80mph.
When this truck was first released, I never thought the engine was going to motivate it as well as it does.
A muffler or exhaust was not even on my list of things to do to my Maverick but when I recently had it in for an oil change, I was somewhat surprised at the look of the muffler when it was on the lift. The tailpipe looks great, but the giant muffler looked a bit worse for wear in terms of...
A deflector on the front is a nice addition but I went with the Ford OEM one. I wanted it flat on the hood but anything taking the brunt of bugs, rocks, etc..., works!
