I had receipt. They pulled it out, charged it and tested it. They said it tested good. Was only a week after buying. Failed on me next day. Took to to autozone they tested it and said it was a bad battery. Took it to two different local shops that tested it and said it was bad. Took all 3 print...
I would take the parts to a shop that will install them. Pay for it yourself, make sure you get a receipt. Then take the dealership to small claims court for the cost.
I have never had this done. I would have thought any reputable place doing rust proofing would remove that themselves. Is that not the case? Or were they going to charge you to have them remove it?
It's a fairly common problem on Escapes and is covered by warranty. I would assume that if it's covered on Escapes that it would be covered on Mavericks.
Yeah I feel we aren't getting the full story here. Sounds like a combination of shady dealer and an impatient customer. A year ago people where paying 10-15k over sticker, but supply has caught up with demand. Regardless, the dealership should be trying to make this right as long as the OP...
I have the ford trifold hard cover that came from factory and it works perfectly for me. If I was going to do an aftermarket one I would spend the extra money and get a Diamondback. They are expensive, but you defiantly get what you pay for!
I would bet you have set the key up as a MY Key. I did this when I first got mine just to test it out. I didn't realize what I had actually done. You will need to use your other key and remove the my key. I did end up making my spare key a my key and have all the speed limits minimal and sound...
I'm not sure I would put a lift kit on the tremor. It already has a 1 inch lift compared to the non tremor Mavericks. It has better suspension as well. I did use the RC 2 inch strut kit on my FX4 and love it. If you do decide to lift it make sure the kit is designed for a Tremor.
I live in Metro Detroit and I see them all over the place! I have traveled to upstate MI and only saw 2 one whole trip and one on a different trip. I just took a trip to Wisconsin, drove through Indiana and Illinois, though Chicago all the way up to Green Bay. I only saw 2 over 4 days. It blows...
