  1. Quick Look At 3 Different Types Of Tonneau Covers

I bought the truck used(low miles)and that cover was installed by the original owner. After you figure out how to use it and stretch and fasten the Velcro sides, it fits very well. The wind flops it some wile driving on very windy days.
  2. Quick Look At 3 Different Types Of Tonneau Covers

That's what I have on my 2023. I wonder how much snow it will hold without sagging? Do you use any kind of treatment to repel water. I was thinking of trying something for boat covers.
  3. Rear visability

I was thinking of doing the same thing, that bothers me also.
  4. Steering Wheel Cover

Yes that does look very nice and comfortable. I bought a "universal" cover at Advance Auto Parts. It fits well but doesn't have the comfort and detail yours has. That's one of my biggest complaints with the Maverick, the steering wheel is too skinny and it needs to not be obstructed at the 6...
  5. Anyone use Premium Fuel?

Premium is $4.299/gal. here, that's what have been using. I'm old and drive that way also.
  6. Confusion About The Infotainment System - Base vs Sync 3?

Thank You. I will look into that, I wasn't aware wireless players are available.
  7. Gas consumption question

That's about the same mileage I'm getting
  8. CD's on/to Thumb Drives

I just got a used 2023 Maverick and I want to play the music from my CD's. Does anyone know how to put the music on Thumb Drives and will they play by plugging them into the USB ports on the truck? Or is the USB only a power source? Will my home computer transfer CD music to Thumb Drives, it has...
  9. The Best Trim Restorer for Your Maverick - Garage Bulls Plastic Restorer

What is a good product to protect the tonneau cover? Should it be marine grade like boat protection products?
  10. Body color matched painted steelies - 👍 or 👎 ?

I like it. I would like chrome "Baby Moon" hubcaps also. My Datsun "Lil Hustler" had red wheels with chrome caps. I wish Ford would do color matched wheels from the factory.
  11. Drop in bed liner installed better than expected!

I agree, I had a 1986 GMC Sonoma with a drop in liner. If you ever haul sand, dirt or gravel you will appreciate how easy it is to clean out and how well it prevents damage.
  12. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

Yea, with those holes so close to the wheels I'm sure you will get a ton of dust inside the bed. We don't have roads like that close by here.
  13. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

I just looked at a new 2022 Maverick with a factory spray on bed liner. The wide drain holes at the wheel well panels are no longer there. The factory spray liner coats down in the seam but does not completely fill it in as a bead of sealer would. Ford must have made a change in the metal...
  14. FWD vs AWD in Snow?

I'm not 100% clear on this and I'm hoping someone can explain it in leman's terms. What's the difference between AWD, Fx4, 4x4 drivetrains. Why does a Fx4 truck say "off-road" on the side.
  15. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

I don't see where it would cause any problems with warranty, you are not disturbing the paint, corrosion protection or sheet metal. It would just force all the water that gets in the bed to drain out the front drain holes or out the tailgate. If you go that route be sure to use a good sealer and...
  16. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

The Maverick I looked at had no bed liner and no sealer in those seams. It looks to me like the bed is manufactured that way, the wide areas are for large dirt particles and water to exit that seam. There are round holes in the front of the bed for drainage also. The floor of the Maverick bed is...
  17. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

You are correct. I just looked at a new Maverick on the dealer lot with no bed liner. Those areas are to drain dirt and water from those seams, I didn't notice them the other 4 times I looked at the truck.
  18. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

My dealer has one on the lot and is only 1 mile away, I'll try to look tomorrow and see it it is the same. I didn't notice it when I looked at the truck before. You are probably right, you have seen many more Mavericks than I have. Thanks
  19. Bed floor separation / gap from side of bed - normal or issue?

It looks like the spot welds didn't knit the two panels together in a small area when the robots assembled the body. It does not appear to structurally weaken the bed and attempts to reweld the area would destroy any corrosion resistance/zinc primer that was applied at the factory. Report this...
