The reason for the coverage not being near the pedals could be a risk of liability with the pedal getting caught like Toyota had several years ago. I think there is a company named "Grizzly" who also makes good mats. Those mats look like they would do their job and stay in place well.

There are 3 symbols on the cover. The top one looks like a battery with + and - terminals, a universal symbol for a battery. That's what I get from the picture.
I would like the wheels painted Cactus Grey with a "Baby Moon" chromed center cap. I wish Ford would match the wheel color with the body color if the customer desired. I had a Datsun pickup once, the body was red and I painted the wheels red also. It looked nice, but that was back in 1972.
I have a 2012 Escape with no backup camera. Power mirrors are nice to back into spaces using the side mirrors, you can easily move them downward or outward to see the lines or obstacles on either side of you. I learned to use side mirrors to backup and park, I doubt if I will ever use a backup...
