Thanks for sharing the data and ideas. Not terribly useful, but gives us more insight into what we’re driving. I knew it was more powerful than my old 3.0 l Ranger, but it’s a heck of a lot more fun to drive. As a result, my mpg’s are lagging. Still double the Ranger, though.

I (among many others) got a Maverick to replace an old Ranger. I would have kept the Ranger, but a cheap hybrid small pickup was just too tempting to pass up.

Oh, ye of little faith!

The steelies make it look a little “butch.” These wheels look technical or intricate or even delicate. I think a simpler wheel looks better on a pickup, with all the flat body panels.

I do use the bed for hauling, but I may never use the hitch receiver. But for $100, it was worth adding. It would cost a lot more after-market.

Apparently, they have better lobbyists than we do.

Maybe Ford will start building EB’s for dealer stock if people don’t change their hybrid orders to EB. That might loosen things up a bit.

Especially by adding options the customer didn’t ask for, or explicitly told them not to install. That’s like extortion.

They most likely will get training on existing prodution lines. Then will get mixed in with more experienced workers on the new shift.

Probably pretty good if you exclude the first four months of production.
