I knew it was more powerful than my old 3.0 l Ranger, but it’s a heck of a lot more fun to drive. As a result, my mpg’s are lagging. Still double the Ranger, though.
I (among many others) got a Maverick to replace an old Ranger. I would have kept the Ranger, but a cheap hybrid small pickup was just too tempting to pass up.
The steelies make it look a little “butch.” These wheels look technical or intricate or even delicate. I think a simpler wheel looks better on a pickup, with all the flat body panels.
For whatever reaso, I don’t think Ford wants to build more than around 100k Mavs/year. The first year people were unsure about the new truck, or were simply unaware of it. But after the reviews were in, the demand soon exceeded production. Unless Ford decides to increase capacity, there will be...
