  1. four weeks in town before delivery? really?

Mine sat in KC railyard for 3 weeks. Four weeks total transit from Hermosillo to dealer. OP's situation is not unusual.
  2. Just bought my first hybrid

As far as add-ons & resale values, Carvana, etc. typically don't add value to owner-installed add-ons. Usually just trim levels XL, XLT, Lariat, etc.
  3. Android Auto Update

Delete the connection between phone and truck. Remove app cache and app data and reboot the phone. Also reboot the truck Infotainment system. Easy to do on pre-25 models. I have no idea how to do it on yours. Next, re-pair the phone to the truck.
  4. Software Updates

People seem to spend an considerable amount of time fussing with the app, trying to get it to work right. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.
  5. Break-in Period

In the '25s, this is correct. Like many vehicles, no paper manual. It's in the Infotainment System screen. Or you can get the searchable .pdf at ford.com
  6. Any success in adding sound dampener insulation to under the hood for noise reduction?

It helped on my XL. I just bought the thick rubber HVAC lineset insulation from Lowes, (or similar store). Cut pieces to fit in the open channels between door hinge area and engine compartment. The HVAC insulation has a peel & stick adhesive on it. Hasn't moved at all and did reduce the noise...
  7. Rear Sliding Window - how to open?

It's searchable in .pdf form on PC, phone or tablet. Get it at ford.com
  8. #3 Blackstone Sample Report

Just switch to full synthetic at the manufacturer recommended viscosity and forget about it. Your next Blackstone analysis will in all probability back this up. I buy the recommended Motorcraft filter and Mobil 1 at the proper viscosity; take it to my trusted mechanic of many years changes it...
  9. Small metal round key like object found in glove box

I was replying to RideSolo's post, not OP.
  10. Another Cracked Windshiled

Not all of them will get broken, nor will Mavericks. I still have the original windshield in my Maverick. No cracks or any more road hazard chips than any other vehicle I've had. Also>🤞
  11. Small metal round key like object found in glove box

Previous owner or prep folks probably removed it. Certain years of Mavericks only came with one fob.
  12. High idle on brand new 2025 maverick with 2.0 ecoboost engine.

The new vehicle break-in period is the first 1,000 miles, per the owner's manual. Keep it under 70mph and drive gently for 1k miles. But that should have nothing to do with your ecoboost's high idle.
  13. This is new, FordPass.

No. Just check for & install the update in your phone's app store.
  14. This is new, FordPass.

Regardless of OS; for various reasons, app updates are staggered. But you can always check for and manually install an update early.
  15. Still have deep sleep 2025 Maverick

This☝ Sometime after sitting for a bit over a week or so, the truck is supposed to go into deep sleep mode. This is to protect the battery and is by design.
  16. Are mudflaps necessary?

Are they necessary? No. If they were necessary, they would be standard equipment, like tires and a steering wheel. Do they help? Absolutely, but only in certain situations. I live on a gravel road and travel on similar roads frequently. Mudflaps definitely help keep the sides of the truck...
  17. Remote Features Disabled Message and Fob Proximity

Apparently, even some '25MY Mavericks are having 12v battery issues. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/still-have-deep-sleep-2025-maverick.62661/ Thankfully, my '23 has not had this issue. Yet.
  18. Open For Comments on NO ISSUE Mavericks

'23 XL Hybrid, 22k miles. Except for dash rattles, zero problems. And that includes 12v & HV batteries. Average annual gas mileage is >40 mpg. I've never had a reason to take it to the dealer for anything other than software updates. I use my long-time trusted local mechanic to do...
  19. Another Cracked Windshiled

No. Same glass used in other vehicles. This is per someone else who used to work in the auto glass industry and posted on MTC about the windshield glass, a year or two ago. But the windshield may have a more vertical angle to it than what you've previously owned. FWIW, Jeeps, with an even more...
