I didn’t on mine. No point in tying it into the reverse lights. It will only activate the parking lines which the reverse camera already has. Save the time for other mods. 😝

Are you using the default settings for a Lariat? I can have a look at what Forscan shows and post it if that would help.

Does the Explorer cluster allow traction control to still be turned on and off with the console mounted button? The escape cluster doesn’t allow for it

They have also just updated the Ford Pass app. Look for the Try FordPass 5 below the remote start button and restart the app. Easier to start remotely now. Swipe right and release instead of holding down.

Did you try pushing lock then pushing 2X twice? That’s how I used to start my XLT. No remote start from fob on my fully loaded Lariat, Ford Pass only

If you have the correct model with one touch up and down switches you can enable yourself with Forscan. It would likely be cheaper to purchase the cable and licence for Forscan than pay a dealership. Not sure if a dealership would do it or not.

I understand the transmissions and engines are different between an eco boost and a hybrid. Is this mod feasible on a hybrid, perhaps only in sport mode?

I had the same issue with my XLT. The DIBL covered both 12v access that Ford claims as a selling point. It also covers the drain plugs for any tonneau covers. There are witness marks to do the cutouts in the backside of the DIBL. They cut out the inverter and cubby’s why stop there. I...
