If the plastic interior were black it would not be in my garage. It get's too hot here to have black interior. Air Conditioning wouldn't be able to keep up. I had black interior on one car, just one, and that won't happen again. It was unbearable in the summer. I actually had a camera lens...
It appears that the plastic "flaps" in front of the wheels are supposed to be called "deflectors". They are still just little mudflaps to me that were mounted in front of the wheels, but some may take exception to that term.
Thanks for the pictures of your truck you put on your webpage. Now I know there Isn't an easy way to put a push bumper or winch on the front of that truck. I will need to make a bumper and find a way to mount it into the faux frame. I have been resisting taking the bumper apart to figure it...
So that is with just the CAI and RaceChip? Or have you done the suspension as well? I will have time this weekend, hopefully, to get the strut stabilizer mocked up and probably welded. After that it is just grinding and painting. I am using 1" x.120 square tube and .120 mild steel so it...

I am glad I got mine. The Tremor package isn't worth the extra $4k it appears. I will wait until someone crashes a '23 and I can get the rear diff with the added locker. But I believe that Dyna is making a beefier diff anyway which they are going to sell on the aftermarket
I used the RokBloks because I couldn't cut down the flaps from my Peterbilt far enough to fit behind the wheels. But I would like it if the RokBloks were just and inch longer so the mud from the front wheels doesn't cake up on the rear door .
Anything that keeps the sand and gravel away from the rear wheels is a good thing in my opinion. Gravel and sand under the wheels, especially the non-driven rear wheels, will keep it tracking the front wheels in a turn. A good question for the engineer that added them though, I am just...
I had the same issue with my Focus but it was far worse, the spare tire bent the frame of the back seat. But they fixed it and I drove that car for another 50k miles before I sold it and had no issues with it. But I had to fight like hell to get the guy that hit me to fix it but I didn't have...
I have gotten between 22 and 32 mpg in my Mav since I received it in January. If I am lead footing it in town or on the highway I get 22 mpg. If I am fairly conservative around town, to and from work which is a 20 mile commute each way, I will get between 24 and 28, depending on traffic and...
Found it between the lower radiator hose and inter cooler return attached to the block. Works and am using economy mode will try the others tomorrow.
If you look at your picture, it was down about, what appears to be, 6" and was attached to the block with the connector pointing up into the...
RaceChip kept sending areas circled at the top of the engine which is why I have been having such a problem finding it. That picture shows me it is below center, closer to the bottom of the fan shroud and near the bottom set of hoses, I believe that the hose below is part of the intercooler return.
Here is the issue with using synthetic oil before the rings are seated, usually around 10k miles. The rings are supposed to wear the cross-hatch pattern so that the rings are seated to the cylinder. This increases compression and lengthens cylinder and piston life. After the rings seat, they...
I would think that hybrids are un the same category if the engine isn't getting to operating temperature each time it fires up. But never having owned a Hybrid I can only speak to engines that I have owned that don't reach normal operating temp, like my welder and air compressor. I have to...
so from what I am seeing B is down at the bottom of the fan shroud/radiator and appears to be attached to the core support. I will check that out and it probably will take me getting to it from the underside but I will give it a whirl from the top first. Thanks, I will let you know how it goes.
I appreciate it the effort. I am wondering if it wouldn't be easier to access the connector, if it is that far down, to get at it from below. I haven't looked at taking off the skid plate but it may be easier. As it is, I am having to stand on a stool to get at the cowl. I am building a...
yeah especially since the factory parts are working.
if you look at the area where it looks like the cable is taped, below that which is about half way down the engine, there are two plugs, one with more than wires the other with two and the B plug doesn't fit. there is another connector...
Now all I need is the throttle body adapter and I will do the intake and throttle body simultaneously and install the dirty side catch can. I am not a fan of disconnecting all the intake plumbing more than once.
