My 2018 F-150 regular cab had a 122" wheelbase, my Maverick 121". It weighed 4200 lb with 290 HP it ran real nice. Flooring it over a 3/4 sec time period it would launch with just the slightest chirp, going to 60 mph in 5.7sec, timed on multiple occasions. Just stomping on the gas confused it...
Just what do you hate about it? Just curious. If it doesn't work properly I understand. This feature has been out a long time. Don't hear of any massive amounts of starters going bad. Auto Start/Stop is a great idea but the implementation by the car companies is a joke on many models.
Yesterday Karen and I went to Jamesport, MO to visit the Amish culture and businesses there. A beautiful day after a cold front came through. Stayed off I-35 going there. Took US 69 to Gallatin, MO then State Route 6 to Jamesport. Since MO passed a fuel tax increase, a lot of rural roads that...

This happened to me the other day when I left a parking lot. When it came time for the ICE kicked in, it didn't. Stopped. Turned it off. Waited a few seconds. Then it started and ran normally. This $hit is getting old.
Sort of, I seldom hear mine do it as I come out of a garage 95% of the time. Only once has the ICE started instantly. It sat in 17° F for about 7 hours. That puppy fired right up but didn't sound "course"
When you went thru Hermann and Rhineland Mo on MO 94, that is the home of my ancestors from the 1880's till the depression. They moved upriver to Glasgow, MO to purchase MO River bottomland after the depression.
