My 2018 F-150 regular cab had a 122" wheelbase, my Maverick 121". It weighed 4200 lb with 290 HP it ran real nice. Flooring it over a 3/4 sec time period it would launch with just the slightest chirp, going to 60 mph in 5.7sec, timed on multiple occasions. Just stomping on the gas confused it...

Love Sport Mode when I use it. Love the fake Coyote V-8 when accelerating briskly. Dont care for the jerkiness on and off the throttle.

Dang, they gave you a extra horsepower.

Just what do you hate about it? Just curious. If it doesn't work properly I understand. This feature has been out a long time. Don't hear of any massive amounts of starters going bad. Auto Start/Stop is a great idea but the implementation by the car companies is a joke on many models.

Would love to take longer trips. I just don't trust the Maverick any further away from home.

If the OP intends to keep his hybrid for long time, he/she did the best thing they could have. Getting rid of break in metals helps insure a longer life. IMO YMMV

This happened to me the other day when I left a parking lot. When it came time for the ICE kicked in, it didn't. Stopped. Turned it off. Waited a few seconds. Then it started and ran normally. This $hit is getting old.

Sort of, I seldom hear mine do it as I come out of a garage 95% of the time. Only once has the ICE started instantly. It sat in 17° F for about 7 hours. That puppy fired right up but didn't sound "course"
