Was that a feature? I know it was on the 2025 Expedition because I see it on the app. But given that the Maverick is supposed to be cheaper, was 2025 Maverick supposed to come with that feature?
I keep mine on auto one bar unless it is the middle of summer and then I'll put it on auto three bar until the truck cools off.
Ford does a/c well. I've never had one not almost freeze me out in short order.
My Eco turns 3 in July. I only have 16,000 miles on it. I plan to run the wheels off it and the buy new wheels. At the current rate it'll take me 15 years to hit 100,000 miles. So, I plan to enjoy the no payments for the next decade.
While I'm completely indifferent on the color choice, Ford only offers a few color options and this seems a weird one to use. Unless Ford has a lot of leftover blue and white and is simply looking for a reason to use it up.
That said, I've always called this color "leftover paint" and my wife...
Ford built 150,000 of these things last year. If 99.9% of them are perfect, that still leaves 150 that have issues. Sounds like you got one of the 150.
Do what is best for you.
Louis lost me when he left NYC complaining about the business environment and moved to Texas to vote for the same nonsense that destroyed NY.
A patent doesn't equate to planned usage. Many companies patent things just to make future companies pay them if they implement it.
I never said they would rest on their laurels. I said they are not losing sleep. This thing isn't even coming out until 2030 and the internet is full of vehicle vaporware that never came to fruition. Still waiting on that Toyota "Maverick killer" that was promised three years ago.
In addition...
Kia: 868,715 total US vehicles sold in 2025.
Ford: 828,832 F-Series sold in 2025 for a total 2,204,124 total US vehicles sold. Their best performance since 2019.
I don't think Ford is losing sleep. Especially with it looking like that.
No. Just my gaming laptop and it isn't even working properly any more. My work laptop has no personal data on it and my MacBook has no work data on it (and not compatible with Forscan). I'm pretty anal about data security since I work in the industry.
It's amazing how many people are quick to blame the truck. If I didn't use my truck for a few days and came across a locked door, I would 100% assume I locked it and simply forgot.
It appears if you get OTA updates, then it is available and will download on its own. If you have an older Maverick, then you will have to wait until Ford rolls it out to dealerships.
