Welcome to the Club! Nice Truck! You definitely traded up! We have a 24 XLT hybrid we bought back in April. Fair warning. You will start finding excuses to drive the thing. We cannot be happier with our decision to buy one.

Nope not worth it to me. I went with A 24 XLT hybrid. Love some of the lariat features but could not justify the price. XLT was a great middle ground. Not to mention that the 24 has knobs for radio and climate controls.

Ok Lets see what I can find I am restoring the 68 now. Interior will be done this week, followed by the rest of the body in the coming months. 65 needs an engine and that will wait until next year. No pics, unfortunately.

My 65 fastback is a 200 straight 6 and my 68 coupe is as well. My mav will have to give me my speed rush :)

Bummer. Deep Sleep in and of itself is not a problem. It's the battery drain that happens even after deep sleep mode. The drain continues until the battery is too flat to crank the truck. Eventually the deep cycling kills the 12v battery. That is why putting in a deep cycle AGM battery...

The guy installing my cap said the same thing. He used strip caulk to divert the water to the outside instead of into the bed. Really paid to have the topper dealer know about mavericks.

Thanks I keep the Mav in the garage, so this would be an easy solution. Much cheaper than a battery jump starter for sure.

I put a cap on my mav along with a rubber mat. I have 2 9 year old labs so I got a ramp. Bingo instant dog hauler. I did try the Mabett dog seat covers: It worked well, but the back is much better.

Thanks. Even if I knew of these 2 issues I still would have bought my Mav. It is just a blast to drive. I used to commute 65 miles one way to work. I drove a Mazda 3. Great little car. Emphasis on Little. The Mav gets much better millage, drives better and is a lot more comfortable...
