certainly keep an eye on the contact areas where your strap ties are going over the frame, the abrasive straps will eventually wear the finish off the frame. There is no way I would strap my carbon bikes down like that. too much pressure on areas that could be cracked fairly easily.

I see tons of Bronco's, a few bronco sports, and at least 2 or 3 Rivans every day. Some days I can go and not see one other Maverick. Not all to common here yet.
I have the opposite, My last Escape had push button start, the Mav does not lol. Going from my first escape to the one with push button took YEARS to get used to not having the keys out. I keep walking up to maverick, grabbing the handle and getting confused why it did not unlock lol
Hopefully the quote will come back reasonable for you. I think you have the worse bit of damage. The rock chips in the paint on my mav will be taken care of pretty easily with some touchup paint, and the windshield is being replaced tomorrow. Good luck on your repair. Make sure to post back...
ugh. I feel your pain. I was driving on the highway today and a semi kicked up a bunch of rocks in an underpass. And of course, they bounced off my truck! I have an appointment Monday for a new windshield, one of the rocks left an inch gouge in the passenger side, and some touchup paint to deal...
I ended up spending some dough on a set of Yakima low profile crossbars and a "roof" bike rack for my Mav. I dont trust others driving behind me to have my 5k bike dangling there like low hanging fruit to be rear ended. So I mount it up on top the bed with the cross bars. For my other bikes /...
When keeping an eye on the dealerships around me, it was starting to irk me a bit. One of the dealerships I called before finding my Mav said that unfortunately all of the ford dealerships will show every car they are getting, not by their choice. The Dealership (Phil Long Ford) here in...
That is how I found my Maverick. We had family over for my Sons birthday party and we were talking vehicles, since I had been shopping for a new one (My Escape was on its last legs) And a family member pulled one up on her phone. I called the dealership fully expecting it to be sold or...
Coming from an Escape 2.0 it drives very similar. Its a nice mix of the Escape, a little stiffer suspension, but similar. The view out the front is very similar to my old '92 Ranger.
I was wondering how it worked with the fob I have. I might have to give that some thought. The app works well enough at the moment, and I actually have it um.. integrated with my smart home system, so I can program starts easier than with the ford app, as well as have my car lock itself 10...
The radio thing drives me nuts, but I do not think its Google's issue. Other infotainment systems leave a small space on the screen for their software to be able to change things. IE Jeep has a bottom bar with different parts of their system to be accessed like the radio, climate control ect...
I came from a absolutely fully loaded Escape Titanium. I loved that vehicle but it started having way more mechanical issues than I wanted to deal with. Honestly, Driving the Maverick feels the same if not slightly better than the Escape. On the power front, the difference between the 2.0...
I was just tooling around on Fords site, and it appears that just changed. The site lists the point requirement to purchase, still cant checkout with points, but it lists them on the site under the price.
Dropped into my local dealer on my way home from the office, and what do you know, they had the dash cam I wanted on hand, and I used the points. Thanks for the answers. pretty simple transaction. Now to find time to install it.
I can name all of the cars I have had on one hand lol.
I started with a
1977 Camaro (still own, non running atm) I bought in 98
1992 Ford Ranger (brown, nicknamed the turd because of the color)
2001 Chevy Tracker 4wd (this little thing was a beast!, and could go just about anywhere)
2009 Ford...
Thanks! The conversion from ford pass points to $ was gathered from another Ford site, which was apparently wrong. Good to know the correct number before I go in to purchase the Dash cam.
