I was up doing a gravel ride up on Switzerland Trail with my gravel bike on Monday, and ran across someone in an FX4 Area 51 Mav...... Could that have been you? lol
Thanks, it works really well. I wish I could get the bike a little lower, but I can get the bike on and off really easily. And I keep the bars on only when I am transporting the bike, The bars are easy to put on and take off as well.
I went with a set of Yakima cross bars and a Yakima rack. Works brilliantly for me. I do have a hitch mount rack as well, but I am deathly afraid of being rear ended and the bike getting destroyed so I dont use it much.
Bringing back a dead thread. I was just contacted by Ford at my office number, even though I did not give them my office number to call lol.
I spoke with someone in their software division. After a while on hold while they did some research they said that they have not had any reports of...
My truck is the smallest in the family lol. My dad has an F-150, my older brother a ranger, and my little brother.... well he is the black sheep of the family with the Silverado pictured below.
This is what I have as well Its the perfect length to just sit nicely in the "phone spot" and not make you tempted to play with your phone while driving.
It is a neat solution to the most common smart home problem, Integration. I have seen and have done some pretty amazing things with it. I have tried many different solutions that are out there to control all my devices, and man this one is by far the most advanced. Being able to connect...
I have been a very active member of the Home assistant community for YEARS! It is locally run, and locally controlled. I decide what has access to the information going in or out of my network and Home Assistant. Home assistant is the most widely used smart home platforms outside of the major...
No, this is dedicated open source smart home software. Home Assistant (home-assistant.io)
its pretty neat software, I have been using it for many years. Currently the attached picture is how I have my "cards" setup. I plan to pretty it up a bit at some point.
I didint even know this was a thing until this topic. I do have Ford Pass connected through a 3rd party addon to my "smart home hub" running Home Assistant. That still functions very well. I created automations that auto locks the truck after a certain time at night. One that alerts me when...
I was going to say.... lol Colorado is the Hail capital of the world. I think we have had hail storms just about every day for the past few weeks now. I have a few dimples from getting hit with some quarter size hail a few weeks ago, every time we get severe thunder storm warnings I rush to...
I live in the northern suburbs of Denver, and man I am starting to see other mavericks every day now. For a long time it was more unusual to see a Rivian SUV and truck than a Maverick
Looks like a great trip! Here is a little bit of info for the time you wander into Colorado. Most of our parks are now on summer timed entry signups. So before you get here, go to the websites for the parks you would like to visit and sign up for a time slot. The two biggest are Rocky...
I am on the fence about it. I plan on driving this thing until the wheels fall off. So I will probably get it done and over with, but I want my dealership to have enough experience doing them that they dont screw up.....
