100% agree. Those suckers are too pricey and awkward to handle to risk damage. I had mine delivered and installed, and they hauled away a very heavy 55" TV.
Same observation with my Avalon Hybrid. I don't use Eco mode because it attenuates A/C and heat and makes it uncomfortable in hot or cold weather and makes the drive too sluggish. MPG and comfort is fine in Normal mode.

Love the title! No, taking a pass on Ford Pass doesn't make you Luddite. It has its pros and cons. I use it along with a quick connect battery tender that I occasionally plug in to replenish whatever battery power might be sucked up by Ford Pass.
I never recommend anything to an undecided person because it may become my fault if they buy it and are not satisfied. Some people are prone to post purchase dissonance, and I don't want any part of that.
