  1. Dealer claim they put the standard spray in bed???

A shady dealer indeed. That is for 100% certainty a factory spray-in bedliner that came standard with your vehicle. Tell me you didn't get scammed on all of the other items on that added mark-up list!
  2. 13.2" screen SYNC 4 upgrade (so long, cubby!)

Yeah, something is not right. WHY no installation instructions? WHY no video of the final product shown installed and working? WHY $3,000??? Are adaptor cables/harnesses needed or it it plug and play? Do the on-screen climate controls etc. work? TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS and extremely vague...
  3. Can a Ford Protect Extended Warranty Help You Beat Inflation?

Maybe "Capital Processing Systems"? It would be worth checking out any reviews on them. A lot of shops will not honor 3rd party extended warranties due to reimbursement hassles and excessive denial of claims. "CarShield" is one of the worst, they look for any minor reason to turn down claims and...
  4. Can a Ford Protect Extended Warranty Help You Beat Inflation?

I know yours are :), I was referring to Suptrack's warranty that his dealer included in the deal.
  5. Can a Ford Protect Extended Warranty Help You Beat Inflation?

Is the warranty the official FORD warranty, or from a 3rd party?
  6. 2025 Maverick Facelift Design Observation

The GMC design "blends in" much better than that of the '25 Maverick. I will NEVER get used to the awful '25 Maverick front end, those "flaps" stick out like a sore thumb and truly are a major distraction. How this "flap=flop" design ever got approved is beyond comprehension. I had been...
  7. Deep Sleep happned again

After constant Deep Sleep events on my '22 Hybrid XLT (9k miles), I was close to going out and buying a new battery for $200-$250... but around that time Ford came to my house and performed the last few recalls/software updates... afterwards I recharged the battery with my tender and then...
  8. 2 months 2,500 miles and it's dead

The engines, and plenty of other issues as well. Not to mention lots of complaints about the cheapened interiors with lots of plastic parts that are ill-fitted and rattling. Yeah, lots of complaints here about the Maverick having "cheap" interior materials, yet you find the same thing on...
  9. Deep Sleep Mode - CURED!! Battery Replacement

2022 XLT, original stock battery. After having the latest recalls done a few weeks ago, I charged the battery, then performed the battery reset procedure, no more deep sleep modes since then...
  10. How-to DIY: change the cabin air filter

What a sneaky (and sleazy) way to cut costs and cheat customers, what, just to save a dime or 2? The images on their website do not show the "low cut cheat" on the filters. yes, definitely AVOID!
  11. Any word on when the 2025 Maverick will be official unveiled?

An inside source of mine @ford.
  12. Lasfit turn signal bulb fails again

WHY should you have to send them a video??? They should immediately send you out a replacement set and issue a shipping tag to return the defective ones.
  13. Negotiated the extended warranty

I would doubt that a dealer would pay $1700 for what would amount to a 2 year extended warranty (3 yr factory + 2). Keep in mind that the majority of those 2nd party warranties are pretty much worthless, with high rates of coverages being declined and extended wait times at repair shops...
  14. Any word on when the 2025 Maverick will be official unveiled?

Tentative dates, subject to change: 2025 Maverick Order banks open: July 31st, 2024. Start of production: November 11, 2024. @Milous
  15. Deep sleep mode

I had all of the recent recalls done a couple weeks ago on my 2022 hybrid... afterwards I trickle charged the battery to 100% and then performed the overnight battery monitor reset... since then, no Deep Sleep messages...
  16. Radio Update Available

Yes, I did the update last week, but like other members have stated, it does not show an updated revision version #...
  17. Mini Spare Tire Recall. Full Size Spare Replacements

The problem was brought to the attention of the Critical Concern Review Group on March 12, 2024. Investigations determined that a small number of XLTs equipped with the FX4 package and the 4K trailer tow package had been produced with a mini spare tire instead of a full-size spare tire. Prior...
  18. Kia Homelink mirror installed

Note that on The "Bob's Mirrors" web site that the $39.99 price does NOT include a wire harness, that's $13 extra for the short one. MORE importantly to note, the mirrors are "B Grade" with blemishes like small chips or scuffs in the glass or housing...
