I called my salesman whom I bought my 2022 from back in May and told him to put me down on the dealership list for ordering a 2025 at the end of July.
Today I get a call from him telling me that he had been on vacation and that order banks were open. I told them they opened 4 weeks ago (!!)...
In addition to the heavily disliked awkward restyling, I believe that price increases have also come into play, and of course current interest rates.
Other 2025 cons:
1. Deleted buttons for climate, heated seats etc.
2. Too many forced options on the Lariat
3. Forced purchase of Black...
Compared to when you started taking new orders for the 2024 models, do you see the demand so far for the 2025 models as: 1. Lower or 2. same or 3. Higher?
Since the overall consensus is that most members here (and elsewhere) are not fond of the abhorrent new front end design, I'm curious if...
I've had the exact same issue here (Iphone 15, IOS18 public Beta). But yesterday I got a notice on my phone to update to IOS18 Beta 4, did so, and Viola! No more sliding screens on FordPass, they all open and now I can see tire pressure, oil life etc.!
2025 Maverick: It's one of the worst vehicle front-end designs that Ford (or any other mfg.) has EVER come up with. The designers should be embarrassed and looking for a career change.
I had been planning to order a 2025 and trade-in my loaded 2022 XLT... but:
Dealbreakers:
1. The horrific front-end design
2. Loss of center console control knobs
3. Cost - the price of the same build for 2025 is more than $6,500 above my 2022.
Factoring in my 2022 XLT trade-in value, plus...
I don't think anyone believed me when I posted this a couple months ago, I was pretty close, off by just 1 day on order bank date, and spot on for start of production date.
But in the case of the OP (tall-scooby), his dealer KNEW that a bed liner was installed at the factory, yet they intentionally scammed him for an extra $689 hoping that he (and no doubt others) would not catch the fact that it was a standard feature.
The also scammed him $299 on the factory...
tall-scooby, did you buy an extended warranty from them? I can't imagine they wouldn't push that on you with a heavy mark-up considering all of the other add-ons.
Another heavily marked-up item that's almost all profit.
You probably don't want to admit it, but did you buy any of these other scam-the-customer items?
Tint $499
Paint $399
First Place Finish $995 (lol)
Pinstripe $199
Wheel liner $299
Locks $149
