Oh gosh, WHY didn't I think of that??? How long did it take you to come up with your worthless reply?
1. Uhh, maybe because if it's considered "normal" or common behavior on the Maverick then what would taking it to Service accomplish?
2. Maybe someone else had the same problem and there was...
My wipers, when they are just a couple inches away from the full down position in the cycle, make a jerking motion and thumping sound. See video and watch the left wiper just before it finishes its down cycle.
In a light rain the cycle is very smooth (normal). But with heavier rain I get the...
When you order speakers from Crutchfield, how do you get the free harness and bracket? If I select "Maverick" for vehicle it comes up "does not fit", and if I add the accessories they are charged at regular price...
I bought the one on Amazon but ended up sending it back... I found it difficult to press the 1, 2 or 3 buttons by "feel". They don't stick down far enough below the mirror so it's hard to determine which button you are pressing. When I did press a button, the mirror would move.
Just tried remote start on my key fob (XLT/LUX), doesn't work... it does work via Ford Pass. Any idea why it doesn't work via fob?
Edit: Figured it out, gotta hit the "Lock" button first, then right away 2x Remote button (even if doors are already locked).
Is the reason to have both switched power and constant power for the mirror is to have Homelink power when ignition is off? Can I just hook up the switched power line?
I ran my VIN via Carvana to see what they would offer just for fun... $30,330 for my XLT HB w/LUX & moonroof, 300 miles. MSRP was $28,035. So break even after I paid T&L. No thanks. The one XLT that they have listed (3,400 miles, EB, no LUX or moonroof) is marked up $13k over sticker. What a scam.
I held them by hand tightly in place, and then with a xacto knife I made a tiny score mark on the upper edge and bottom edge of the square side of the trim. The marks were made where the trim met the very edge of the rear door.
I then placed them on my workbench, and using a straightedge I made...
Mostly to the rubber surround in the middle areas. The front guards have a lip that goes under the mirror trim, and on the opposite end the adhesive is on the door edge "blackout" area. The rear guards on the left side also stick to the black area, and the rest of the way are applied to the door...
I haven't really thoroughly tested them yet, other than washing the truck. Supposed to rain this week, so I'll have to see how it goes. Seems to me the 3M tape seal would prevent any water leakage.
