Many threads on this including a new one I started about 5 days ago. Disconnect the negative terminal under the seat and measure voltage. Leave is disconnected overnight and measure again. If it hasn't changed, the battery is likely okay. There may be a module drawing it down and you can check...
One would think, I agree. I can say with considerable confidence at this point I can eliminate the battery as the suspect. After three days since posting my experience I had at the dealer, who said it was bad (but couldn't replace it) I have not had a deep sleep or battery saver mode condition...
Hard to say. They just focused on testing the battery and that was that. Anyway, it sounds like you have a Lariat with proximity function. Mine is an XLT so the key fob shouldn't be involved in the equation in my case.
As far as fuse 11, that is listed as one of six PCMs. I'm not sure I want to...
Thanks everybody, all good suggestions and observations. I'm going to run with some of these as well as get a usb voltage indicator. I'll update if and when I come up with something significant.
You've read all the posts before," remote features disabled to preserve battery. Go for a longer ride" it tells you. Or deep sleep mode take your pick. Not to be confused with a no-start condition because that has not happened, yet. I'm on my third battery and the problem has reoccurred. So I...
Sorry dude, glad you're okay.
Multiply antler points by 1,000 and add 2 grand or so for diminished value. But it falls under comprehensive coverage so your deductible should easily get buried. Good luck.
Thanks for that info, my insurance carrier (a major one) is either unaware of the 17c or like you said it may not exist in Ohio. Anyway, sorry to hear you're having to deal with all that. Hopefully the insurance carrier for the party at fault can be reasonable, if that's how it played out. Best...
Thanks to JohnKn for mentioning the significant issue of diminished value following any vehicle damage, collision or otherwise. The repair estimate, and the eventual final tally only addresses the major portion of the cost. The remainder is real but very subjective. Insurance corporations do not...
It happens to me every time in L, even on a slight downhill grade. It's a really high rev and I doubt that it's normal. I get the regen function but it sounds excessive. The service department agrees but of course they couldn't duplicate it.
Same here, I'm on number three and likely headed for the fourth when I get around to it. Battery saver mode is back on a regular basis. It always starts but FordPass is just a useless icon on my phone.
Yep, many threads on this. I'm on my third battery for instance. I'm told these are manufactured by Johnson Controls and their quality (or lack thereof) is questionable. It's not just from the factory, the local dealership regularly pulls bad batteries right off the shelf.
So here we are today...
Thanks, there is just enough of a flat area for it to properly adhere. But as I recently posted, it has not yet been exposed to colder weather so we'll see what happens then.
Yep! There is a relatively small area that will accept it but properly placed it sticks just fine. Now, I must add that it has not yet been exposed to cold weather yet so we'll see in the next few weeks.
