Never touch my Maverick when washing or drying. Use a foam cannon with mild soap/wax solution. Always dry with a leaf blower. Ceramic coated. Garage kept. Looks brand new, cause it is.
Thanks for the heads up. We're doing a couple of road trips in the next month and my "prep" was going to be "hoping" we wouldn't have a flat. If we catch a dry day I'll do the spare and jack routine and again "hope" we won' t need to remember what I just figured out in my driveway.
Discount not working for me. Tried using points for tailgate assist. Ended up being $63.00+ with shipping. Not worth the hassle. Ordering from Rough Country for $25.00 with free shipping.
Thanks to Granger Ford for posting. This Maverick will be my last vehicle. I'm still on the fence about ESP, but I still have 2 1/2 more years to worry about it. Hopefully "Bidenomics" will be a thing of the past.
Traded in 22 XLT Eco Boost for 24 XLT Eco Boost. Same color, accessories, etc. I think it's a better truck. Quieter, tighter. May be a placebo effect, but the dealer gave me almost MSRP for the 22, I'm happy. I look at this way, new tires, new brakes, and new warranty.
'22 eco boost never an issue with the brakes. 12,500 miles. '24 eco boost with 850 miles, front right started grabbing a couple of days ago. I would like to wait until 1st oil change at dealer, but if it gets worse, a day spent in the waiting room drinking bad coffee. But that's OK if it...
Traded in my '22 Maverick about a month ago for a new '24. Still haven't been able to find the "sweet spot" seat adjustment of the old one. I've adjusted it fifty times and it's just not the same. I guess I'll try fifty more times.
Applied 70,000 points to my new Maverick. Will apply some of the new truck points (42,000) to oil changes at the dealer. Did that with the first truck and got 3 for the price of 2. Still have 1 left to use on the new truck when needed.
Make sure you do your research on your dealer. I used Northgate Ford in Cincinnati to buy my '22 and '24 Mavericks. Things went well both times. Somewhere on this Forum is a Good Dealer/Bad Dealer list.
Max Mate Cover never got here. Canceled that order and ordered the TipTop as did some other Maverick owners. Clamps look just like that. I had trouble latching it in the final step. Figured out I needed to move the small blocks to rear, all the way to the end of the track. Been on about a...
