I'm in the same boat. My '22 has been perfect, no issues. I'm looking at a $4-$5 K difference. When the '24 comes in I'll go to the dealer and look it over and then decide.
Used top tier 92 premium for about the first 10 tank fulls. Switched to top tier 87 ever since. Have not noticed any difference in performance or mileage. But then again I'm pretty old and drive like an old man and don't really care about the MPG.
Ditto here. Order a '24, twin to my '22. Hope it's as good a truck as the first. Scheduled for build the first week of December. Cactus Grey, Co Pilot 360, XLT AWD.
Good to see and hear about my other Brothers. I was with the 168th Combat Engineer's. Ordered '24 July 17th. Got a build date of 12/4. We'll see. I'm prepared to wait.
Just got my email yesterday, 10-12-23, that my '24 Maverick EcoBoost is scheduled for production the first week of December. Ordered the first day the order banks opened, July 17. Also got a VIN and waiting to print the window sticker. I hope it will be as good as my '22 EcoBoost.
Sounds about right. Took my Maverick to my Ford dealer in February for oil change and tire rotation. They had a buy 2 get 1 special. I used Ford Pass Points. Cost me 39,122 points, which in reality cost me nothing as the points were gifted to me. That breaks down to approximately 13,000...
My '22 Maverick was rear ended in December. Heavy traffic, snow and ice. The Maverick stopped well short of the van in front but the SUV behind me slid for over 100 feet before it hit me. I think the Maverick has better brake sensors than other vehicles. But let's not rule out distracted...
$500 deposit at time of order. Put it on my Ford Visa. Order shows a $500 deduct on the total price. I have no problem with that 'cause my price is locked in. New '24 XLT. My '22 ordered thru same dealer with no issues.
Oil changes and tire rotations at the dealer. Got a buy 2 get 3 package. I use the Ford Credit Card on occasion, and should get another 42.000 when the '24 comes in.
Selling, trading in '22 Maverick. Balance due in cash, should be $2000-$3000, depending on when the '24 comes in. Benefits are new tires, brakes, warranty. Worth it?, I don't know, we'll see. The '22 has been problem free, just a great vehicle.
I bought Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating from Amazon. Spray on, buff it out, let dry, wipe off. It's about $45.00, enough for 2 treatments on your Maverick. Best sealer I've used. Water beads, dirt just hoses off. 1st coat lasted about a year. Going to use on '24 Maverick when it...
