  1. Modifying tire diameter, is this correct?

Why don't you just go into engineering mode on the dash and change the AFE setting to match your actual tires? No Forscan or anything else needed.
  2. Leveling with springs or struts?

C/V joint failures. Don't do it. Nobody has a kit that keeps the joint angles from changing. That requires the transmission to drop with a new subframe cage.
  3. Tailgate Open Notification?

Most pickup drivers have a use for an open tailgate, so it makes no sense to put switches in to check for that. The rear is normally jacked up a bit and tends to make things slide away from the rear every time you hit a bump. Also every time you hit the brakes things will slide to the front...
  4. Maverick 12v batteries: Stock→AGM→Sodium

You are so close to not having it start. My first battery didn't last 8 months, and I'm on my fourth one now. Since everyone else is having the problem and you're not, what are you doing different to make your battery last that long? What equipment do you not have that is potentially the problem?
  5. Reapplying Undercoating from Ford dealership.

I used Krown creeping liquid undercoat that has to be updated every year, and they guarantee not to cause harm to the coolant pipes, wiring harnesses or drive battery connectors. I think FluidFilm has the same guarantee. Mine is 3 years old now, with zero rust or door seal damage in a heavy...
  6. Spray-in vs Drop-in liner?

In my case in Canada, Line-X was $750 or $49 cheaper than OEM and $365 more expensive than the OEM drop-in liner, but is tougher and covers areas that the OEM coating does not.
  7. Finding the elusive jack points on a '25. (pictures? and getting it on jack stands))

If you can't find the arrows, just look for the pinch area where there are 3 layers sandwiched instead of 2. That section is stronger and designed to hold the vehicle weight, and the 2-layer part is questionable, especially at the front.
  8. What are Plastic Plugs in Side of Bed for?

They're perfect for the drain lines from your tonneau cover.
  9. How long does brake pad last on Hybrids

You only use friction brakes when under 4mph or when braking hard. The brake pads wear will consequently be very highly dependent upon how you drive. If you hyperbole you could probably expect to get 200k out of them, and if you drive like an ass then you'll only maybe get 30k.
  10. Reapplying Undercoating from Ford dealership.

Agghhh! Don't do it! Crap like Resitall is a hard undercoating material, which only works for a couple of years. After that, any little chip in the surface allows water and salt to penetrate underneath and sit there and slowly eat the steel, causing more damage than not undercoating it at...
  11. Same height, but better / firmer suspension?

Custom variable-rate springs are very difficult to design correctly, so I would think it pretty unlikely that a custom spring shop would be able to do a better job than the factory units. What may work better for those looking for softer springs would be a set of Escape springs out of the...
  12. 2024 Hybrid 11,000 miles 2nd battery died Also want to reprogram ABS module for $200

I have a 23 hybrid on its 4th battery I have had every module updated and every time applied. There is still another unintended leak, and the underlying problem of never getting to even 80% charge. The 23 and 24 are identical electrically. There is another tsm solution coming in q2 fi...
  13. 2024 Hybrid 2.5 engine milkshake

Give it a long run in sport mode. That will keep the engine on all the time and burn off the condensation in your oil.
  14. Not only did I get my best mileage from this tank..

    1) Never top off the tank. You're going to plug the vent valve and maybe the charcoal canister. The repair is pricey. 2) I'd bet that the pump is way off calibration, and they are cheating most of their Customers. I was supposedly able to pump 4 gallons more than the tank size at a particular...
  15. Would this be covered under paint warranty

That looks like rust under the paint, emanating from a stone hit. That's user-caused, not covered by warranty.
  16. Can headlight bulbs be replaced / changed / upgraded?

You'll be waiting a very long time for a light with a 100-year design life to fail...
  17. Loving my new Michelin Defender 2 tires!

How much mileage did you lose with the deeper treads and heavier tire?
  18. As many have noted, temps above 40F or so really improve MPG

I was actually waiting for a year for a lux-package XLT, and cancelled when I say a Lariat listed for the same money as the XLT. I never appreciated some of the Lariat features like a power rear window or the wireless phone charger until I had them. The pushbutton start is also handy, as is...
  19. Snow Covered/caked front grille issues '24 Tremor

That "snow" on your grille looks pretty dirty, more like its kicked-up crud from driving way too close to the vehicle in front in reduced traction conditions. In a snowstorm the normal 2-second rule should be extended to at least double that, both for safety and to avoid paint and windshield...
  20. How many miles did you get from your OEM factory tires?

Prior to 25, the Lariat got Michelins and the XL and XLT got Continentals. The 25 and 26 models got Goodyear low-profile tires. We switched to Michelins in 86 when our factory Firestones hydroplaned in the first rainstorm on a brand new vehicle. Today I would need some serious convincing to...
