I met with my LineX guy when I made my appointment and told him I wanted everything taken off before spraying. They ended up having my truck for over 4 hours but I would rather wait then rush it. Plus I got a ride to go eat from a friend. So far so good.
Check with the dealer but I would expect even if it is possible it would be expensive to add the modules and sensors after the fact.
Plus you might want the Assist package and that would include more hardware.

Yes packages and features change every year. Ford's materials online were accurate but you had to look closely at the details. When I ordered my 2023 I'm sure I knew more than anyone in the sales department. I just handed them a spreadsheet from this site with what I wanted. I also had to tell...
I had a small area on my dash that I thought they had forgotten to paint but it turned out to be some kind of gray substance on the blue plastic. Talked to the service advisor when I went in for my first oil change and he told me to check with the sales department? They of course were of no...
Mine is inconsistent- did not work most of the summer but I figured that could be short trips with the AC on. Somedays it works and on any given trip if it works it operates several times. Checked with my dealer and they said a month before the "qualified tech" can look at it so I made an...
Sort of OT but I just paid $147 for my first oil and filter change after they quoted $110 for full synthetic. They charged more for an "extra" quart (actually should be .5 quart and he knew I have a Maverick) tax on the part and oil (of course) and $24 for the good old "shop supplies (not sure...
Got my first change today- only have about 1200 miles but I don't like leaving that first oil in there too long. Guy said they use a blend but I thought the manual said full synthetic so I asked for that. He said $110 which is about what my Infiniti is for full synthetic but turns out that price...
Do you think dealers and others that provide service are lifting the Mavericks at the pinch welds and using the proper equipment to avoid crushing the welds?
I plan to ask the dealer when I go in for my first oil change.
Mine was about $570. He said "premium" would add a couple hundred to that and the main difference is it would stay shiny longer. Since mine does not get hard use I went with the standard. He said the price is based on all of the fittings they have to take off and re-install on the Maverick and...
Maverick is wider than my car and I smacked the passenger mirror on the garage door trim. Cleaned off the white from the trim and used a black el marko on a small spot where it knocked the paint off. Did it a second time. VERY careful now pulling out or pulling in. At least when you are pulling...
I think a big problem is the shortage of collision repair shops and workers. Many now have a take it or leave it attitude and they don't care if you go someplace else.
A friend had minor damage to the roof of her car from her garage door and got bids from $400 to over $2000. The higher bid guys...
I kind of like the glossier finish on my LineX and I think the premium option is supposed to maintain that better over time but I park in a garage and don't plan to haul that much so I think the standard finish will hold up. If not I could probably treat it with something to bring the shine...
I drove a Lariat with the standard interior and I thought it looked a lot better in person than in the pictures. I still like the black option better but to each his own. Like you said I did my research so I knew what I was getting.
It's a fairly subdued blue which may appear gray in the pictures to some people. One guy who has his truck was adamant that his had gray trim. Many people have some degree of color blindness- it is not rare. I would rather have gray in my Lariat but I don't mind the blue at all. I like it with...
