  1. Does Anyone Drive an EB Infrequently and for Short Trips With No Battery Charge Issues?

I never use the remote start but will try it this weekend. I have had no problems starting or with any other functions. I can use the heated seats and steering wheel right after start.
  2. Does Anyone Drive an EB Infrequently and for Short Trips With No Battery Charge Issues?

I did the same thing. The battery tender harness was too short so I got a 12" SAE extension from Amazon. BT sells one but it is 6' long which is way too much. If you try to run it lower the movable shutters might not work correctly.
  3. MPG change....

Most of my trips are similar to yours. I am retired and I live in an area where most everything I need to do is close by. I try to group my errands so I get the engine up to temp. My indicated mileage has been around 22 on a full tank- with a little highway to help it out- in 1800 miles. Our...
  4. Does Maverick have auto start stop? Disable possible?

I picked up my 2023 in April and the feature never really worked even on mild days when I was not running the AC. Occasionally it would work when I did have the AC on. I think it is definitely a battery issue and others have said the battery management system limits the charge to 80% and the...
  5. Does Anyone Drive an EB Infrequently and for Short Trips With No Battery Charge Issues?

I have about 1800 miles on my 2023 ecoboost with AGM. Only problem is the start/stop not working unless I put it on the battery tender- no problems with starting or features including heated seats and steering wheel. I do a lot of short trips typically but get on the freeway for a few miles most...
  6. New 12V battery drain in 3 days!

I hooked up my battery tender to the battery posts also and after 100% charge (according to BT) my start/stop was working although that was Saturday. From what I have read here if you connect to the ground on the body you will not bypass the BMS and it may only charge to 80% or whatever the...
  7. Battery Monitoring System, BMS, settings in ForeScan...

Only issue I have had was with start/stop not working pretty much since I got my truck. I suspected the battery and when the dealer tested it they said it was 56%. I don't put on a lot of miles but drive it 3-5 days per week. Dealer suggested putting a battery tender on it. I did and charged it...
  8. Wireless Dongle for Android Auto and Apple Car Play

I have the Motorola and it has worked great. I leave my phone in my pocket.
  9. EB 2.0 battery replacement...

I'm going to monitor my situation for a couple of weeks and then decide if I need to contact the Service Manager since the Advisor never called me back. At some point I may press them for a replacement. When I got the survey from Ford about my appointment I did not give them a good score and...
  10. EB 2.0 battery replacement...

Over the weekend I hooked up a Battery Tender harness and charged the battery using a BT Junior which is all I have. I have one on the car I drive rarely and one on my motorcycle. The BT Junior only charges at 750 mA so it took overnight but I had the green light on the BT the next day. Hooked...
  11. Deep Sleep Mode / Battery Saver Mode

We are having a discussion about batteries and start/stop in this thread. I was told the same thing- would have to hook up a battery tender if I want start/stop to work. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/eb-2-0-battery-replacement.39052/#post-699791
  12. EB 2.0 battery replacement...

Very interesting video. From what that guy says my trips of 15-30 minutes may not be enough to charge my battery even if I drive every day because of the electrical demands of the vehicle and the charging limits established by Ford. That may be what my service advisor was trying to get at...
  13. EB 2.0 battery replacement...

When I took mine in Monday to have the start/stop checked they said my state of charge was only 56%. They charged it up to 87% if you can believe them and said both the battery and charging system tested okay. They say I don't drive it enough and need to put a battery tender on it. I don't put a...
  14. Auto Shutoff/Start doesn't work...

I'm having the same problem. Mine has only worked a few days since I got the truck. I did not think it was a big deal so I would have them look at it when I did my first oil change. NO, "the guy" could not look at it for a month. I posted this on the other thread: I'm not sure I even like the...
  15. Does Maverick have auto start stop? Disable possible?

I'm not sure I even like the feature but it should work. I waited a month for "the guy" at my dealer to look at it and he says it doesn't work because my battery was low. I don't put on a ton of miles because I am retired and most of the stuff I do is close to my house but I drive the truck 3-5...
  16. 2023 Maverick Tremor won't start.....

I have the same problem- start/stop has only worked a few days since I got the truck. Dealer says it is because I don't put a lot of miles on the truck but when I do drive it the battery should be fully charged and the feature still does not work. Today they charged the battery and reset the...
  17. Bad 12V Battery on the Maverick’s? Seems strange

Dealer is telling me the auto start/stop does not work because my battery is weak because I don't drive it a lot. So after I drive a half hour or hour the battery should be charged and the feature still does not work. Have not had any issues starting the truck or with any other features. Today...
  18. Tow Hook mounting for Maverick

I did not see anything in the pdf manual about how to use the tow holes. Are you talking about the abbreviated manual in the glovebox?
  19. Aftermarket Wireless Bluetooth?

I have the Motorola wireless adaptor and it works great. I think once I had to unplug it because Sirius was doing something when I started the truck and it tried to connect.
  20. TUXMAT floor mats for Hybrid only $200 now

I have them in my EcoBoost and they look great. I did not have to use any clips to get them fitted.
