  3. 81 YO needs a little easy to understand help

I dug out a usb drive full of music so I could try this out, then remembered I don't have a maverick anymore :ROFLMAO: Is it hard to navigate? My old mazda could do that but it was a 2014 and the interface was all but unusable. Ford's interface is newer and worlds better.
  4. Keyless Entry - My favorite feature

There is a way to program in a new , easier to remember code through the touchscreen. The touchpad is a great feature and has saved my bacon from my own stupidity a few times.
  5. Dealership warranty woes

Feel free to pay for the lawyer in order to find out because that's the game they play.
  6. King of the road, or shop queen?

    Poll fail no hybrid/eco choice.
  7. Tires for FX4 w/ 4k tow package - recommendations?

What kind of driving to you expect to do? What's the weather like in your area? Mostly highway with enough off road for emergencies? Or do you spend every weekend deep in the woods? The stock pirellis are fine if you do mostly on road. I liked them better than I thought I would.
  8. 2024 Maverick Lariat build after 30 days (Nikki)

Weiner dog with a carry handle! :ROFLMAO:
  9. Whats the price on Continental stock tires

Yup. Every tire is a compromise. OEM contis are lightweight road tires. OEM tires generally wear out faster than replacements anyway. I have had good luck with contis in the past and would buy again.
  10. Maverick makes a good hurricane evacuation vehicle…

My dad used to have to do those evacuations and it's a real PITA unless you get out early. Gas was always an issue. Best of luck.
  11. Removing ink stains

I've used this stuff but not on ink. Works well on other kinds of non water stains so this would be what I'd start with. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Chemical-Guys-SPI-191-Lightning-Fast-Carpet-and-Upholstery-Stain-Extractor-16-oz/55451942

  14. Fit a FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE under the Maverick to replace the pathetic factory bicycle wheel spare!

Click click clickety click. If you post an amazon link to a partner account like yours, you get a cut of the sales. Which is exactly what you did so please don't act like you're providing a public service. How's your youtube channel doing? Getting close to the magic 10K subscriber mark...
  15. 2.0 supposed to tow up to 4K lbs. Not so!

Those are great photos and thanks for sharing them. I hadn't seen the other threads. The last bit about them costing $125 more goes a long way to explaining why Ford chose the thinner axles for the stock mav. If I had to guess I'd say they probably will fit a stock mav but you know how...
  16. How the Maverick Ranks in Recalls (vs. Other Vehicles)

There certainly is the potential for abuse and a lot of organizations just aren't prepared to manage people remotely. But the topic was whether or not it's possible to do automotive engineering remotely and it absolutely is.
  17. Montana's Maverick - '22 Lariat Lux FX4 4K EB

Good luck! I've been feeling the "luxury" itch myself but can't scratch it until my kids finish school. Low end torque is nice. Turbos engines by design aren't going to have that - no fault of the mav just how they are. Don't get a ticket by forgetting about the v8! 😂
  18. Fit a FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE under the Maverick to replace the pathetic factory bicycle wheel spare!

He's trying to get amazon sales by generating clickbait content. That's why he won't answer the question. ETA he even has a you tube channel. Imagine my surprise.
  19. 2.0 supposed to tow up to 4K lbs. Not so!

You sure they fit? Heck are you sure they're actually different?
  20. How the Maverick Ranks in Recalls (vs. Other Vehicles)

I was speaking specifically about delays in early production due to constraints like chip shortages, just to be clear. Dunno WTF they are doing with software. It's not like the covid restrictions affect the ability to sit at a computer working remotely. The more we deal with software...
