I also didn’t realize they didn’t have sides when I ordered them. The photos on the Ford site didn’t show it very well. I have them for sale if anyone wants them.
Spills, sand or debris getting underneath, etc. I've worked with and repaired a lot of eletronic knobs, switches, and potentiometers over the years and I would never put one facing up like this. The old style physical levers were pretty dang tough, I'm just not sure these electronic dials are...
Hate it - mostly because it's in a terrible location. A physical level shifter in the same location is less likely to have issues due to spills, dirt, debris. I believe these knobs are going to wear out and have problems in the future.
I also just prefer the old school shifter on the column...
So I have a crease in my drivers seat material and it seems like I'm not the only one. This to me IS a warranty issue as it's actually in the exact same place on my truck as the guy's truck in the video.
Anyone else have a crease in the same place?
Ok - glad you mentioned the paint. Hope Ford will cover paint chip repairs under warranty.
Seat issue is annoying. Had a crease/loose material on mine pretty much from the beginning. I know other people are dealing with it as well as I saw someone in a YouTube video mention it and on Facebook...
The back window just isn't very tall and the headrests do block some of the view so it's not a great view out the back. My Nissian Frontier 4 door had a much better view and our Chevy 4 door work truck is way better as well. Both have larger rear windows - something about the shape of the...
Ok you guys got "protectors" too. I like the look of mine but it's basically just a protector for the hood edge and isn't a "deflector" which would send bugs and debris up and over the windshield.
Is yours a deflector with the little lip that sticks up to redirect air upwards? I thought that's what I ordered originally but mine is just basically a hood protector.
Do you think the 235/75R17 below would fit without rubbing based on your experience? I'm looking for bigger but not wider. It's only .15" larger diameter than your tire but 0.5" less width.
Your tire
245/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT - 30.6" x 9.8" 38lbs
tire I'm looking at

I don't know if I love the Fender Flares but if they keep that area clean I might go for it. I don't really have issues with dirt anywhere else. Down the lower side of the doors is where all the road water seems to spray up here in the NW and then it dries and I end up with dirt streaks along...
With the Bushwacker Fender Flares do you find you get less dirt/water marks on the door behind the tires? On my Alto blue the door area gets dirty so fast! Lots of streaks/dirt show up right in that area and it looks crappy. Don't want to have to wash it constantly.
