Forscan. I can literally get in my truck, start it, and drive. I don’t hear a single chime or have to acknowledge a single message. I briefly see a message that auto start/stop was disabled, but it doesn’t hold me up at all.
I put sound mat and fleece tape on all the interior trim panels I removed during an audio upgrade, and honestly I am even more impressed with the sound deadening results than I am new speakers and an amp. Well worth it IMHO. It feels (sounds?) like a much more “luxurious” truck now.
There are...
Have not ever heard of this. Here, the dealers absolutely make appointments for service. That doesn't mean they start right away, and it sure doesn't mean they can tell you when you'll get your vehicle back - but I definitely made an appointment when I took mine in for a recall and a CV seal...
Yes, the 2.0 Ecoboost has a turbo. No question.
No, your 2026 XL Ecoboost did not come with a spare; the mini spare is standard on the XL hybrid only. Source: Ford website.
Welcome! FYI the forum has a "search" feature at the top right of the web page - over the last 4+ years, most new owners have asked similar questions, and I am confident you will find answers to whatever you need. Stay warm this weekend.
Sorry, I didn't see the mention of "not having any issues" until now. I was just wondering if both of those codes are really nothingburgers.
I don't know what "Antenna 2" is, but if Fordpass, Bluetooth, navigation, radio, SiriusXM, and any other antenna-using options are all working, it's...
I am not sure what you are trying to convince yourself of. If you want a new intercooler, or justification for following a certain oil change interval, by all means do it.
But the improvement in charge air temperature is the spec used by the intercooler manufacturers. The drop over the stock...
All Ecoboosts (if not all turbo engines at this point) have intercoolers; this is just a larger one for performance applications.
In any case, this cools the pressurized intake air. Oil cooling is handled elsewhere.
No clue how that even happens, but I have the luxury (or at least the consistency) in not owning a car with gas hood struts in maybe 25 years. Nothing against anyone who sees convenience in the aftermarket struts, but my muscle memory is tailored to prop rods, and to date I have not had one get...
Are you doing it on the iobd . io site that Forscan . org points you to? That is where I purchased my license from a few months ago.
Sometimes when using prepaid cards (highly recommended) you have to “authorize” them and attach a billing address to them for online vendors to accept them. It...

I can't answer your main question, but I wanted to suggest using fuse #6, as it will most closely mimic the operation of the OEM head unit - meaning it has 12V+ until you open the door, even if you turn the engine off. I used fuse #6 for my amp remote and it works great.
I believe fuse #3 cuts...
There’s a whole subforum with all the answers. Have a look around:
