I'm not sure the engineering or assembly comes into it; it's really just the way that document was annotated.
I would say it is more counter-intuitive or illogical than it is against any engineering "standard." "Primary" and "secondary" have meanings and connotations, and they went against...
The fact that “1” is secondary and “2” is primary ought to get someone strung up by their scrotum. Incredibly bad engineering, documentation, and quality assurance. Just wow. :poop:
I put the same speakers in the dash/doors/rear in my truck and had similar results. No regrets about ignoring Crutchfield’s fitment advice. 😀
I didn’t bother running new wire to the doors, but did run wire to the dash tweeters. Pretty easy since my amp is behind the glovebox.
You're gonna have to give us a hint as to what your objections might possibly be. It's not like Honda dealers have cooties.
Repairs? Your local Ford dealership will take your money for service. They don't care where you bought the truck.
Financing? Totally depends on your situation, and...
I think it working like that is dependent on whether or not you have the system enabled in the first place, via the dash menu CNJFF and I referred to.
In my 2023 XLT, I have the auto-high beam system turned OFF in the menu, and when I push the left stalk forward, it merely turns the high beams...
Sorry, I don't, since I am a few years removed from the process, and even mine was purchased used. I know the big dealers like Granger and Long MacArthur were going below MSRP last year if you ordered one - not sure how that translates to something sitting on their lot.
It also seems the MY26...
Hard to go wrong either way. I like my Maverick, and I would not worry about Ecoboost reliability, but I also have owned Hondas/Acuras going back 30+ years and have loved owning, driving, and working on them.
The interior of the cheapest Ridgeline is like a Bentley compared to any Maverick...
The peanut gallery is loud on this one. 🤦♂️
People have upgraded brakes before, and not everyone posts every single mod - like OP's other 350hp Maverick build. But that truck exists, and people have seen it at a meet-up.
I'm gathering OP is trying to preserve some intellectual property...
If it makes you feel any better, every single OEM black fastener I've ever touched in that bed is now rusting. The simple act of unbolting/refastening apparently damages the coating enough to leave the metal unprotected. Then the Torx bolts retain water in the head. Yay.
If I had to do it...
