I would have to read thru my old post to see exactly when Eibach made the swap. But it definitely was this year. I bought mine in November 2022 and got the old ones that made the noises. But, if you have the old ones, reach out to Eibach and they will swap them for you.
If I wanted a comfortable ride, I wouldn't have bought a Maverick to begin with. Let alone lower it. You guys are reading too much into this tire size and being "comfortable". If you want the absolute best ride you can get, stay stock forever and don't mess with anything. But for those of us who...
Oh yeah, I get it. My dealer won't even entertain adding anything aftermarket to customize their vehicles. They know they would have to sit on a vehicle a long time to move it. But as with anything dealer related, the price is inflated to almost double what it should be. It used to work well...
My truck is lowered, yes. I run 32lbs cold because as they heat up they get to 35-36lbs. I have ZERO tread squirm when they are cold. This is something I have done for all my lowered vehicles since I have been 16, and I am 49 now.
And, the butt dyno can't tell the difference between the stock...
Yea I stuck with 18s so I didn't lose the ride quality of factory. You really can't tell a difference from the stock 17's to the 18's. Air pressure is key. I ran 35psi cold in my 17's and with the 18's I run 32psi cold. No change.
Yes, the 245/55/18 is the same diameter as the stock tires, however after talking to another member who did the 235's they are really close to rubbing on one side. I was afraid to try the 245's. I may try them next, but so far no complaints with the 235's.
Mine is AWD but I has the first gen Eibach's and they made the noise. Now have the new revised ones and no noises. Super happy now. Mine aligned within the spec range with no camber bolts. Sure there is some camber in the rear but it's not bad enough I would spend big money for camber arms or...
Yea I applied some lithium grease to hold the O rings in place. Yes it is a lil tight and you need a swivel socket to get it done. I dropped a small 5/16" socket in mine so don't feel bad, lol.
Big question, what does all this "performance" cost the consumer? A lowering kit, wheels/tires, CAI and tuner and some stripes should be fairly reasonable, no?
BAP was never on the constraint list, it didn't even sell close to the allotments. I originally had it on my '23 order but after seeing some of the trucks with it before mine got scheduled I dropped it and added the Lux to my XLT. I didn't like all the different colors of black/bronze. The only...
Yes, you said performance upgrades. But you only listed 1 and without other items it isn't really a "performance upgrade". Yes it is lowered with some wheels, the grille bar has been painted, stripes added and probably some Katzkin seat covers on the interior. But none of that is performance...
Im not bagging as I really like what ya'll do with some of the F150's and stuff, but I was hoping when he said performance, he meant a hopped up motor/turbo with a tune and custom exhaust and downpipe. Maybe a big brake kit upgrade. Something to truly improve the performance of the truck. These...
