As someone who was in the military who also didn't get paid enough but unfortunately had to care...trust me I get it lol. Was all a joke. Still waiting on that Mav technical tho....
This is why I simply don't get people who "WanT ComMunICatIon!!." Well here it is...congrats I guess. I had literally zero communication between when I ordered it and when my dealer called that it was delivered. It was a fantastic experience. Hope they find those wheels for you soon tho! Stay...
That was def part of my reasoning as well. Along with not wanting to mess with another set of rims. In two or three years hopefully the awd will be coming just in time for new tires anyway. That's the plan at least. Also....
Those will be great for sure. I'm going with some Cross Climate 2s so I can just leave them on all year. Even here in WI where I am I don't need a full snow tire.
This is my nightmare too. Glad you were ok. Looks like the headlights are good. So just the bumper and the black trim pieces underneath. Probably won't be that bad but you'll either be out your deductible or just paying out of pocket if it's close and you don't want your rates going up. How long...
tbh I think with modern cars it's not worth it. If you are super worried you can self install some fluid film on the most exposed areas. But really your $$ is better spent just running it through the touchless wash every week or so.
I'm not 100% sure but I think somewhere here or on youtube someone pointed it out. I don't have a lift so am too lazy to go crawling around under mine tho.
This is informative thanks! The disparity in mileage between "severe" and "normal" in the manual made me wonder for sure. Also the fact they never specify which transmission it's referring to. I have a hybrid and do alot of gravel and dirt road driving (without the consistent payload tho). If I...
If you don't go offroad at all a good a/s will have much better performance for your needs. Even though snow isn't really an issue for you the michelin cross climate 2 is a fantastic tire in all conditions. Amazing for dry weather, rain, and you wont be afraid of that once a year snow in the south.
I don't live out west or anything so no extended driving at 80+. But when passing on the highway and such I've gotten there. It def isn't particularly confidence inspiring at 85 but it's way better than my old honda fit. The power was fine for what it needed to do but you could def feel it...
I have the same light. I ended up in the same situation and just snapped the zip tie or plastic clamp (forget which) holding it. That game me the extra length to just barely plug the light in. It was not a pleasant experience. You have to pull the roof liner quite a bit down to have enough room...
Nice explanation and an interesting watch. In the colder climates it's basically the same situation in but in reverse for winter time. I'm getting 40 mpg per tank now in the summer but will probably only get around 34 in January when the engine has to run more to keep things warm.
Zero reason to be concerned for a MY23 order. This production issue will be fixed and won't be a problem. Unfortunately for us MY22ers it is an issue. I'm not worried one bit about it long term because it's a simple problem with a simple fix. However since the immediate result is a bricked mav...
That wasn't factoring in any kind of markup on the potential MYY23 order. That should be at msrp (whatever that will be). Obv markups for anything on the lot will be around for a while. But yeah maybe optimistic to think they will budge but if you don't try.....
Came here to say this. I'm waiting for the AWD hybrid anyway but really hope it will make it over to that model. Will be nice in WI when we get more than a few inches of snow and I'm navigating unmaintained driveways and such. Also it just looks cool.
Don't pay it. Prices are increasing about 1.5ish k. Not 4.5. The 23s will be fully sorted out from any issues as well. BUT if you can negotiate down to 2k or less....go for it.
