I'm in WI. My hybrid has been perfect for almost a year now. It's an early November 2021 build so maybe the line supervisors were looking over shoulders a bit more. At least that's what I tell myself...
Impossible to tell with hybrids losing mpg in the winter anyway. I'm averaging about 33 mpg compared to 40 plus in the summer. We went on a 1k road trip over the holidays that was pure windy highway, snow/ice messing around, and idling. Got 30 mpg which I though was pretty decent considering the...
If you think the contis are ok, I highly recommend the CC2. They will blow your mind. Visited my inlaws in northern WI over the holidays and my hybrid was a beast
I got these a few months ago when I swapped the oem tires. They are perfect on my hybrid xlt rims. Non-locking obv.

Not surprised at the results. Can't beat Hakkas for serious winter conditions like that. I only have Cross Climate 2s but had the same experience in just 3-5 inches and a little ice. The hybrid was super stable and predictable. Just a bit of sliding like you said but that's to be expected if you...
Congrats! Tbh I think you got the best deal possible. Especially for a larait lux awd in WI. Shame the guilt trip didn't work. There's always our free meal at Applebees to look forward to tho
Damn RIP. Hate to see a wagon go out that way. Those are endangered. Agree with you about the styling tho. The mav is just a more satisfying aesthetic for those of us who want a truck.
Suckers be out there. I agree with the other poster below above me. You should probably go claim it if you're comfortable with everything. With scheduling being so unknown for 23.
Sorry it didn't work out. It's in the fine print you have to be a member the day of the order. Mine worked out fine since I was already a member. Didn't have to do anything except give the dealer my member number.
I feel this. I also live in a touristy small town. Local knowledge of the danger zones is key. I'll never understand people who mess around like this in the same zip code as a big truck. You'll lose. Every time.
His channel is great. Best tire/tyre reviewer by far. If you're worried about ice there isn't much to do for it except risking it with studs. Though for anything that isn't the rural northwoods studless will be fine imo. When you're talking bigger rigs and ice that's a whole different experience...
Since I'm coming from no screen/infotainment the current offering is great to me. A bigger screen would be nice I guess but it's not something I actively desire. I do hope they keep the analog guages for future models tho. I like the old school look and it's easier on the eyes than more tiny...
Hakka 9 (studded): Illegal in WI. But up north no one will care (probably). No compromise performance on only snow and especially ice. The tradeoff is bad performance everywhere else. And lots of noise. Only consider if you live way up north and absolutely positively NEED to be out in the worst...
