You know, I was kind of thinking what in the world is Ford doing by not even really promoting most of this stuff, like how are we getting our best looks and info. from regular people who track this stuff down and share it on the internet.. Then I thought, that's exactly why Ford's not, because...
Anyone else notice that the Lariat appears to have unique tail lights? This really stood out to me in the pictures that @CoryDallas8123 shared with us today.
Up until now, I thought tail lights were the same across all of the models. There's clearly something going on with these Lariat lights...
Why are folks so upset over the topper being taller than the roof. Last I checked, a topper wasn't for looks? It's for added protection/safety of items that will be stored/transported in the bed. I have a feeling you complainers don't realize how low the roof height truly is on these. A...
Fair point, but the title of the thread is "Paint alongside top of rear window."
Aforementioned gap looks to be within tolerance to my eyes. This will be a mass-produced item after all.
10mm is the difference in width. The 235/65R17 are 1/2" taller than the 225/65R17. You can easily add 235/65R17 after the fact for less than $795 installed, even the same Wildpeak AT3Ws don't cost that much.
GAWR of highest axle / 2
What if you had a wheel that rated at 1375 LB and you loaded your Mav all the way to max capacity.. sure, it checks out for the front GAWR, but doesn't meet the minimum for the rear GAWR. It would only be a matter of time before you ran into trouble.
So much good content here. A lot of really helpful measurements.
Only thing I keep noticing are those fabric front wheel well liners. Really hope to see an aftermarket, plastic option available.
Heh, knew I'd find one as soon as I saw that pic ;)
Oh come on, hope you're joking?
In the odd chance you're not; that is the cost of loading up a Maverick with a ton of features. AWD, LARIAT, FX4, LUX. All of those add-ons SUBTRACT from total payload.
It'll do you very well then! Exactly what the FX4 was intended for. Glad to see another with some realistic expectations and who will use it right up to what it was made for (y)
