And by spin that's if you have traction off/disabled. If not, the FWD will just pull timing until the spinning stops and you can properly accelerate, in which case the AWD will be lengths ahead already.
FWD with the 2.0L will just spin and spin. AWD will spin just a touch and then hook right up and you're moving. I'd test drive a 2.0L Escape FWD and AWD, and then the hybrid if you can. Best performance all around will be AWD w/ 2.0L. The FWD EcoBoost would only have a chance at taking an...
You obviously didn't pay enough attention as that gentlemen said they were in the 2.0L EcoBoost. The hybrid won't even bark the tires with just the driver in it.
It's only small to those who are accustomed to the gross monstrosities of which our stereotypical trucks have become.
This vehicle has been long overdue.
That's too bad, thanks for getting it to us initially! Hope Ford didn't come down on y'all too hard  They still owe you for all you do for this community!
How TF are you disappointed with the way production has gone? It literally started 2 weeks ago with initial runs being for a small run of dealer stock.. Would you rather your build was first so they could fudge up a few things on yours just to squeak it down the line first.. Not how any of...
Whatever, when I build and price on Ford I get the exact MSRP that the dealer has posted before any markup. You're clearly not adding all of the options. I'm not disputing this, not my truck, won't be my truck, follow along and see for yourself.
Build and price an AWD XLT w/ FX4, 4k tow...
Also, considering the options, it's hard to believe that's one of the initial stock orders. All other dealers have mentioned their stock orders have had zero add-ons and are base XLT FWD or AWD 2.0L.
Could very well be a retail order. My local Ford dealer gets all orders published to the site...
The MSRP is coming out to $29,455 when I build and price. If you go to their site, you can see it also has co-pilot360 $540 and the floor mats $175, in addition to the 4k & FX4 and full-size spare.

All I wish they would do for an ST variant is unique grille & painted lower trim/body moldings all around, a tuned suspension that's been lowered 1-2", wheels/tires, Recaro seats, and maybe an intake/exhaust from stock.
If Ford doesn't offer that in time, I think we'll see enough folks that end...
The Focus RS was transversely mounted, featuring the 2.3L Eco and 6-speed.
The 2.3L EcoBoost is also transversely mounted in the Explorer, but with an automatic.
I don't know about easy or if we'll ever see it happen, but the 2.3L and 6-speed manual were in the AWD Focus RS. So we know a similar platform has previously had that configuration. I think it would need to be AWD for sure though. Too much power to try and put down with just FWD.
There's no bait and switch going on. You folks need to find a hobby or something else to do with your time. Ford has barely scratched the surface for scheduling, and only started production TWO WEEKS AGO.
Sit back, relax and watch the BOOM in hybrid orders that get scheduled next week and...
