Here's the translation from Dealerese to English: we don't care to find your issue with the tools available to us because we'd rather take someone else's money and make more.
Recommend going to another dealer.
For $490, they better mow your lawn, detail your car, do your laundry, and make you dinner.
I personally think 60k on a hybrid transmission is too early to need to change it, especially for the $500 charge.
The EcoBoost...that's another story.
If windshield install and camera recalibration are charged separately, you can recalibrate the camera yourself with a Windows laptop, OBDII adapter, and Forscan. Not particularly hard.
@Tbone289 has the correct procedure. These transmissions are not great, so it's important to make sure you use the right fluid, amount, and procedure.
Transmission fluid temp needs to be between 185-200 F. It can be monitored via Forscan.
Recommend you pull the codes it's throwing. Some folks have had issues with the gear selector.

No. The Maverick battery is tiny relative to the 4xe and plug-in hybrids. It requires the engine to kick on to charge the battery or regenerate charge with braking.
Have a way to get unstuck if you do get stuck.
That usually requires a more capable vehicle around you and a way to yank you out, so make sure you have a hitch/recovery point.
Yep! I've used both almost exclusively for almost 10 years on my old Accord and current Maverick. Good oil, good price. I pay $8 for the Motorcraft filter and I'm out the door for $30 in materials.
