  1. 2025 Maverick Owners - Windshield Tapping/Rattle?

Please post a video if you get a chance. I think I might have found the issue on my 2022, but can't yet confirm if I can fix it. There seems to be tapping of plastic directly behind the instrument cluster on the plastic ducts..
  2. Towing a car on a car hauler? (EB, 4K & FX4)

Way, way above the capabilities of the truck. Your local U-Haul will rent you an F-150 XL for $19.95 a day and whatever they charge for mileage.
  3. Remove Wireless Charger 2023 Lariat

I believe the connector for the wireless charging pad is perpendicular to it on the bottom and that it's screwed into the center console. See if you can pull a fuse. The connector is proprietary and will not work with anything you buy in the aftermarket. Do you have a case on your phone?
  4. X plan also for custom orders?

X plan is processed at the time you pay and is available for custom orders. Each dealer chooses if they want to participate. I'm not sure if you can combine it, but I'm sure others can chime in.
  5. Cigarette lighter ports not staying on after shutting off the truck.

You might want to reset the battery management system (BMS) just in case they didn't. You can check if they reset it by looking at the battery age in forscan or simply reset the system anyway. The system can be reset from Forscan or via a process that's outlined online. It's the same for all...
  6. Ford extended warranty harassment

That's not from Ford. They're pretty good at making folks think it's from Ford, though.
  7. Dealer denied warranty claim on CV axles

Leave a review on the dealership Google page telling folks about your experience of the service manager trying to defraud you of your money and go elsewhere.
  8. 22 & 23 Lariat windshields cracking

You sure that's not just the windshield wiper heater? I highly doubt the glass manufacturer has this many bad windshields in a row.
  9. Interior Color Change

Center console is easy to take out. Top of the dash requires the whole thing to come out.
  10. Burning Question Still Burns — Maverick 12v. Battery

The average poster on here will know more about the Maverick than the folks at those shows. That's just the way it works, unfortunately. Same experience I had at the show here in Seattle, but to be fair to those folks, that was 2021... I wouldn't be concerned about the battery issues enough to...
  11. So what happens with the 2025?

My guess is most mods will continue to work. Having access to modifying my vehicle software/logic after purchase at home has been one of the coolest parts of owning a Ford.
  12. Maverick Lariat Hybrid 2024 undercarriage damaged

Tough to tell. Could be just some clips and a felt panel. Is the check engine light on?
  13. $40K- the new norm?

How do you know how well the specific product line is doing? I'm about 99% sure they don't publicly talk about profitability of individual products. I don't imagine the profit is high, but it's a parts bin vehicle.
  14. Can I Buy a 2025 and store it for a year?

The Maverick is not going anywhere. It just got refreshed. I don't imagine big changes coming next year. Maybe different colors, new wheels, slightly higher pricing, but no big changes.
  15. Is the Maverick’s Telematics Data Reported to Law Enforcement?

No, it's not sent to the police. A plane or radar/camera is much more likely.
  16. Can I Buy a 2025 and store it for a year?

You'd be losing a third of your factory warranty with it sitting. Why not buy a 2026 in a year?
  17. Gone for a week, Recommend disconnecting battery?

I wouldn't. I don't think it's necessary. I'll echo the battery jump pack suggestions. They're not more than $50 on the low end these days.
  18. Saying Goodbye to 2024: Reflect on Your Year with Your Vehicle! 🚗🎉

I didn't get out camping that much this year, but the Mav reliably got me in and out of some very remote spots for the 3rd year in a row. Some pictures from the past year:
