It's not there. No matter how I sort, there's no review from a David in the last month even. I bet it's been deleted or I'd be happy to thumbs it up for you. You might try clearing your cache and loading their reviews again, but I'm positive yours is not there anymore.

Now back to your original question, say you stumbled upon a transverse 2.3L from our preppy cousin the Lincoln Corsair, sure, it should be nearly a direct swap. A 2.3L from a Focus RS on the other hand would probably be way more involved on the electronic side but certainly doable with enough...
So long as your vehicle is rated for 4k towing capacity, Ford says you can safely tow up to 4k. Now, if you exceed that 4k capacity you will be putting additional stress on the transmission and the rest of the vehicle/powertrain that it has not been designed for. Same logic should apply to...
I don't recall anyone saying one couldn't reuse sensors? The problem is that you can't just take sensors off of one wheel and onto the next as they have to go IN the wheel. Which means dismounting tires to remove the sensors.
For me, that would mean paying for mounting the new wheels along...
It's unfortunate but it is the reality; there simply will not be a Ford Performance tune for the 2.0L Maverick. Ford is already pushing the envelope with the 8F35. The Lincoln Corsair with 2.3L only claims an addtional 30 torque, bringing it to 310 lb-ft and it has an 8F40. Ford's not going...
Sorry for the late reply, but I have never heard of that. Not to say it isn't possible, I've just not heard of it. I went with the 315 sensors and while my Maverick didn't pick them up on its own, I followed a youtube video to relearn the new sensors with a Ford TPMS tool.
Let us know how it...
So it took a few weeks just to ship and Steeda doesn't even know what their own product will fit? Sounds like you're off to a rocky start on something that should be relatively simple..
In terms of fitment, the AWD has a multi-link rear, the FWD does not. Thus I would assume it will not be...
You seem to ignore the questions of how you achieved 2.5"? Did you combine kits to get the 2.5"? The tallest available I'm seeing is 2".
If the Pros (I'm talking FordRangerLifts, Rough Country, Belltech, etc.) are only making 1.5"-2" front kits, I assume that's because 2" is the upper limit...
Very true and good points all around.
Something I will add for those curious; the Lincoln Corsair, the only US Spec vehicle currently equipped with the transversely mounted 2.3L + AWD, surprisingly has much the same parts as our 2.0L Mavericks, I'm talking same intake, same junk intercooler...
I'm reading different results on these springs so I wanted to start a simple thread to document the results of those who have installed H&R Escape Springs on their Mavericks. Specifically AWD - H&R 28633-1
@Canyon Racer - 2" front drop, 3" rear drop, modified rear insulator
@JJC - 2" front...
So you just threw springs at it? I understand the temporary, but to not measure the drop to even get an idea? I don't get that at all. And yes, from reading on here, ISC will be around the corner but $256 for springs vs $1600 for coilovers; this old man is fine with the springs if I can...
From my experience Area 51 shifts too much to be matched by a vinyl. I found a seller who I thought had a good match for some emblem overlays, but it didn't turn out.
I ordered based on the sample from their eBay listing, which looked promising.
The actual result was not as desired. I...
Also, @FakeCowboy should get in here to properly assess the lifetime on that poor 8F35.
How long has this one been tuned without transmission issues? And how many miles/pulls has it succumb to in that time? Just wondering because we have folks on here who seem to the think the transmission is...
Any pictures of yours or more info? I didn't realize we already had a third on the Escape springs. Did your rear drop evenly from side to side? Also, I can't quite tell it from your avatar but it looks like yours may be squatting? I know Canyon Racer and JJC both mentioned shimming the back...
Why pay $400 for the springs? They're only $260 shipped from Tire Rack.
Also, what's your plan for the rear? @Canyon Racer modified his lower isolator but @JJC used Escape isolators. One reported a substantially uneven drop in the rear but the other didn't seem to mention it. I am curious to...
I don't know how I missed this one but those are fantastic, and $75 a set, that's a steal! I'm sorry folks gave you grief on that.
I couldn't help but drop my jaw when I saw the original people saying they'd be in for a pair @ ~$20.. these are probably the same folks wondering why the...
On second thought, you won't even actually have higher ground clearance as a spacer lift does not increase ground clearance. The only effective way to increase ground clearance is with a taller tire.
So, starting out with 8.3" of ground clearance; let's say you stuff a 32", that nets you 2.25"...
This is not your job but from reading your posts in other threads you constantly feel the need to worry and hypothesize the infinite what-ifs. You're in almost every other thread pondering and speculating so many hypotheticals. It will be what it will be. This thread has nothing to do with...
If one is tuning and cranking up the power on their Maverick and the 8F35 fails, why would one even bother with FORD warranty? Perfect time to upgrade if you ask me.
This unit looks beautiful though, well done.
