Yeah, because the designers and engineers in Dearborn, cooking up fresh products, should just stop designing, prototyping and testing new products, and instead get on the first flight to Hermosillo and step right into the assembly line. That would be excellent use of Ford paying those designers...
Very interesting.
How was your experience with said dealer in regards to purchasing the first Maverick? If they did a job well done, maybe you consider just letting it be and allow that dealer to make a little coin on the new one. If just so-so or not so good, maybe try and buy that second...
And man oh man is that thing low! Looks even lower than the ones we've seen using those Escape springs. I've been so on the fence with those. I'm going to see what comes of this if Maverick specific springs that give this much drop do not come to fruition. This looks almost like 4" lower...
It sure looks like an even sleeker fender flare option is coming along aside from the current Air Design and Bushwhacker offerings. Really hope they make those available separate. I could use just a touch of coverage all around. I'm talking like 1/4" - 1/2" without as much added height as the...
I don't think anyone's forgetting necessarily, but something to also keep in mind is that the headlights on the Maverick are actually quite low to begin with. I see a lot of similar vehicles tend to have the headlights mounted right up below the hood. The Maverick has the actual headlight...
Right, but if a third of it isn't getting flow... Hope you got it for sale, maybe a third off at least.
The boys and girls across the pond toying with their Mk4 Focuses appear to have figured out how to do it right and fully utilize the space. But they finished it in black so I bet it...
Nobody here was saying otherwise, all this really shows is that the stock intake is not a restriction for a stock Maverick. Thus if someone is not doing further mods or tuning, an intake alone isn't going to provide any performance benefit. Simple as that. Yet somehow we have folks on here...
Is that installed correctly? It doesn't look like it's making good use of the opening? Seems only about 3" X 24" is exposed and getting direct airflow via the bumper opening. Also, the factory intercooler has a nice duct to guide air to the intercooler. Without that duct, wouldn't a good...
Despite no gains, they'll still be offering the kit in multiple finishes. I can't help but appreciate the honesty. I think it still goes to show a tune will be best bang for buck in terms of performance.

Results are in! Full 3" air intake kit.
This is on a factory tune with NO changes. We made about 10 pulls in factory form to get a good solid base line number. While still on the dyno we installed our...
Just as I suspected. $20 lights being flipped for $100 with the addition of a wire tap and possibly instructions. These bars in various lengths that all do the same sequential startup and signal can be had on Amazon for dimes on the dollar.
What's the warranty like if I purchase from MrBoom...
The picture came from Ford.. but the odd color processing likely comes from someone who was trying to generate a visual of Area 51 before actual images were released. This has been pointed out on here many a times.
Back before Ford released real photos of all the colors, folks were going mad...
The only way there could be no cutting or drilling would be if the lights tape on and are wireless. I suspect minor cutting and/or drilling is the minimum to get these going.

For example, either an F150 or Ranger door at full swing would easily impact at least a few inches above these door guards. The Red is roughly where a door ding would occur, the door guards on the Maverick install way down in the Green. I just don't see them offering much protection...
This Air Design build from SEMA had them color matched and I think they look very good body color.

In regards to door dings, keep in mind how low the Maverick is and specifically how low these door guards...
Ah I see. I'm new to Etsy I saw the different seller name now. Either way these are likely $20 lights that the OP or that group are simply adding a $5 harness, fuse tap and some kind of DIY instruction. Nice that OP offers the color matched brackets as that's really the only value add. End...
Is this your Etsy shop? If so, why the price difference for the same kit?
Thanks,Dave
Also, any chance for an Amber only version? I'd love an amber setup for my Lariat.
Did you change wheels since the video? If not, you do not have Bronco wheels. Those are Maverick Optional Alloy wheels. Also, if mileage means more to you, removing the leveling kit may have as large of benefit as going to less aggressive tires.
We're from the same generation, it's all a choice. I've just made the choice not to. I also understand your choice to use the word and I understand that you don't mean offense. I appreciate you specifying. Unfortunately not everyone will understand that and some will inevitably take offense...
