  1. Anyone done the 0% 36 month finance offer from Ford for their Maverick?

All dealers. Some dealers may try to give you a "better deal" if you finance with them, but you should absolutely be able to finance any new Ford with Ford credit at the time of purchase. Given this 0% deal, I took that as there's no better option. My wife's C-Max we financed with the dealers...

I can't believe radio signal is not affected with these, but I won't complain if that's really the case! I really do like the look of that 2" best, but I don't want to lose any signal. Give us an update once you get yours on, if enough folks report no issues I'll have to get myself one of...

Wow, I hadn't even noticed the non-painted handle on my Lariat. I think the chrome one will work for me, it will match the chrome on the emblem that way. I'd also like to do chrome door handle covers but I'm worried the key-less access may not work with a handle cover. How's the best way to...
  4. N/A

I hope they come out with a few options, maybe a mild and a wild. Somebody should report back if they do. I do find myself craving a little extra sound once in a while, but I don't want it too loud. I haven't changed out an exhaust on a car in 20 years. The Maverick has me wanting to...
  5. Tracking issues

Happened to me a couple times but I was checking religiously. Seemed to be good for about 5-6 days, then it'd go rouge on me for a day or two. Each day I said I'd stop hitting refresh, the lie detector determined that was a lie. Dave

I wasn't quite aware this was anything. Now I can't "un-see" it. Subtle, but I appreciate the new look.

Looks great, just ordered one. I prefer the all chrome European look like this one gives. Thanks for sharing. I hope the aftermarket brings some nice options for tail lights down the road. Cheers, Dave
  8. Will 245/65/17 tires fit Maverick without lift kit?

That's probably the most common size that's been posted on this forum so far.
  9. Attention: No New Hybrid Maverick orders after 11/15 (until Summer 2022)

You might be a consumer who could technically produce a report, but you need to pay Consumer Reports a subscription for them to consider your input. But they also do their own research and testing, not to mention they have long been notorious for bias and inaccuracies. The folks who quote and...
  10. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

For anyone that wants to install a can properly, it needs to attach here: Pictured is driver's side of the engine, can be reached from the front. I is the intake manifold, P is the PCV hose. Connect PCV to Can and Can to Intake. If you're careful with removal, you can easily remove OEM...
  11. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

Where you have your can hooked up, air is being pulled from the intake tube not the other way around. You're not going to have any oil there to catch. You will see some condensation of course. There's a proper place to install a can on these modern 2.0L and this is not it.
  12. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

Correct on all counts. The little bit of condensation accumulating in this Buscher can isn't going to save anybody's engine/intercooler. When the OP said there's no PCV system on the Maverick, that's where I lost all trust. But somehow folks are signing right up. A fool and their money are...

Anyone know what lift kits are being used on those two Mavericks? Is this a hint from Ford at a potentially Ford endorsed/approved lift kit coming soon? Seems the nose is also a little high on both though. I can't imagine the snug top weighs enough to sag the back, maybe they both just have...
  14. Bad news on aftermarket wheels / tires / etc

Thanks for the video.. maybe it's just an illusion since the front end is missing, but it almost looks like these Mavericks could really use a staggered setup. I know that can be a little trickier to pull off on an AWD but it can be "faked" via spacers for a square setup. It looks like the...
  15. TPMS - 315 MHZ or 433 MHZ

I looked just a week ago and they weren't showing options for Maverick yet. I actually purchased my wheels and tires from them but had to search using the Bronco Sport. I opted to not have them mounted/balanced as I couldn't confirm sensors would be the same. Guess that's what I get for being...
  16. TPMS - 315 MHZ or 433 MHZ

Yeah, I've found both variations much cheaper on eBay for same Motorcraft sensors. Just want to make sure I buy the right ones.
  17. TPMS - 315 MHZ or 433 MHZ

Forgot to mention, it's an AWD EcoBoost. I'm kind of confused as to why there are two different sensor types on a vehicle Ford was trying to assemble with absolute lowest bottom line in mind, but I digress.
  18. TPMS - 315 MHZ or 433 MHZ

Updating to confirm 315 MHZ sensors worked for my Lariat. Hello everyone! First post here, just looking for TPMS info as my dealer can't seem to verify for me at the moment. Long story short, my Maverick isn't built yet so my VIN isn't allowing them to lookup actual part numbers yet I guess...
